So I don't visit the forum for almost 24 hours and come back to find Gen PPR'd.....surely if they look at his posting history over the previous day they could see he was under severe stress and make allowances?
I've no idea what he is supposed to have done but going by the threads I and he have been looking and posting on, it's enough to make you throw up your hands, offer a few swear words/insults and potentially cause a PPR whilst banging your head against a wall. I myself have made numerous posts in frustration but then opted not to post, either because my laptop was playing silly beggers or because I had second thoughts about posting my actual thoughts and then having to get into a petty arguement over them when I just don't have the time right now (I'm not really a head over the parapet type person now, used to be but not now)We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Just popping by to wish Gen good results, hope it works out well for you.
Thanks to Mrs G for keeping us up to date.0 -

Forgot to say, someone who posts on the OS board is working in a Commonwealth country this week and she says people keep asking her if she's planning to claim asylum now she's there0 -

I've had visitors for the last few days so haven't been following the forums - it came as quite a shock to see that.
I suspect someone had a hissy fit because if it was solely for ending some posts with the word "idiots" there are other people who say far, far worse, to the extent I have them in ignore, and they don't get PPRd.
Hope Gen's OK.0 -
Sorry but if Gen has gone I'm gone.0

The appointment is with a hematologist. I expect to be told one of two things:
1. Everything is fine beggur off
2. Go get a test
If 1 then fine. There is no pressure on doctors to avoid giving cancer diagnoses here. I went previously with a 'lump' that I was told was scar tissue from radiotherapy and which doesn't change in size ever.
If 2 then I go for a biopsy on Friday or Saturday of next week. Then the tissue gets sent out for analysis which takes a small number of days. Then I am diagnosed with cancer or not-cancer.
If not-cancer then I probably have no more treatment. If cancer then It's back into the mill of operation and radiotherapy. Plus a bonus of chemo I would expect this time around. If the cancer comes back then it's usually worse than the previous time.
<sarcastic mode>:j</sarcastic mode>
I hate cancer. I really, really hate cancer. Its's horrible having had it and it's horrible being scared that it's coming back. !!!!, !!!!, !!!!, !!!!ity !!!!.
Oh Gen, I'm really, really in favour of option 1 for you! It's a horrible, worrying time.
Wishing you all the best.
GNo reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Pyxis It's in Sunderland
That's ironic!
I wonder if they'll petition to get it renamed now?
Brexit Way, perhaps?(I just lurve spiders!)
