Cloudy in Poitou Charente at the moment...the upstairs creatures where playing half the night , no idea really what they are just been guessing with a little knowledge only and why they where not out in the forest....my daughter had a Pine Marten in her place which is nearish to Confolens say 40 mins from here and did have to remove it...she is only there holidays so I can understand she did not want the whole family moving in....they might have anyway!!!

Looking at the long range wx forecast... which is unreliable... but looks like summer will arrive in July. Locals have been saying not been like this in 30 years....not in that accent though;)

The storm has well and truly arrived. I've had to let water out of the pool twice! I'm soaked and freezing cold (from the rain, I didn't jump into the pool and take the plug out!). It's 16C but feels like about 12C which is pretty nippy for Sydney.

How many "2nd" homes do you have?

    NP Posh Alert needed, perchance?

Surely when it gets to the top it'll let itself out?

That's what the problem is. The only thing lower than my pool is the room where I keep, among other things, a load of papers.

Lovely and sunny here which of course means that my wonderful neighbour has got his music blaring out and he is hedge trimming.....and all way before 9am!

Now I used to like the Communards (sp?)/Bronski beat but they are not so great at 8.30 on a Sunday morning so loud your house is shaking. The annoying thing is when they do this, I tend to get the blame as the ones the other side to me think it is my music as they can hear it so clearly, at least today they can see him in the garden doing stuff.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Oh SingleSue, that really is out of order. I have a rule not to start on the noisy jobs till after 10am at the weekend.

Same here Jazee. I think I will be in a foul mood today because of this, I had a bad night last night and that extra hour and a half would have made all the difference between having very little sleep and having enough to keep going just about.

Got a busy couple of days ahead too so really needed to have a good rest today.

Edit - Music has changed, we have Fleetwood Mac now!

Was out all day yesterday taking part in a musical thing as part of an Art Festival, so didn't get home 'till late.

There's such a lot of talent out there, and it's mostly amateurs, too! Very gratifying to see some good things about people, people developing talents they never knew they had, and entertaining others at the same time! :)

Hurray for AmDram groups and Rock Choirs etc!
