Oh no, poor Maggie! :( At least the exhibition was interesting, I suppose....I hope you'll feel better tomorrow, though I know it will take a while to recover.

Pyxis Welcome :hello: I don't think I've ever posted in the Arms, but I've seen and enjoyed your posts :)

I forgot, I do take Cetirizine as well, for another allergic condition. But you might like to know that my GP said to me "Actually, some people take two a day....but I didn't tell you that, okay?" So I haven't told you that, okay? ;)

DH has used Loratidine for several years and it's stopped working for him now, so the doc told him to try cetirizine instead. It seems to help, but only to the extent that when I asked him if it's helping, he said "I think so." <ivyleaf rolls eyes>

Oh has headed out to the Smithdown Road Festival to see Pete Bentham And The Dinnerladies.

Wish I could go too, but for fairly obvious reasons it's a bit beyond me! Nice for OH to go and have some fun though. He's not only my Carer, but has to deal with his Mum's stuff too. I think he's an exceptionally nice and fabulous person. I'm very lucky.

Gen, watched John Torode's Australia today, the episode was from Sydney. He went to an amazing looking supermarket in the western 'burbs, I think it was Lebanese. The range of fruit and veg was astounding. Also lots of scenes from Chinatown before cooking on Bondi.

Welcome Pyxis, think we go on another board together.....

I am classed as outer Herts (as in an area that is not part of Herts), I'm the resident Suffolk/Essex border gal.

I picked my car up from right next to the border.

Test drove it from the dealer in Essex, into Suffolk, past a beautiful timbered pub by a river, a lovely church and back to Essex. In about 10 minutes.

I always wanted to go to Lavenham..one day, former lovveerrr took me for a drive and said we were going to Lavenham.

Well, we arrived, reached the crossroads, he turned (away from all the lovely houses) and drove back out of Lavenham.

    Apparently that constituted visiting Lavenham.

I actually got used to 'visiting' places in this manner, most of the time he found a handy car park, I would start getting excited that maybe, just maybe, we were going to park up but alas, he would turn the car round in the car park and drive back out and away :rotfl:

Blimey. There's nothing wrong with stopping!

I slept in a/the church hall in Lavenham on a couple of times when I did walking pilgrimages with the church youth club as a teenager. Wonderful memories.

Bondi LOL. Did they move on the Irish backpackers before he started cooking? Bondi is renowned for British and Irish backpackers passing out on the beach at 3am and then waking up badly sunburned at midday.

The range of fruit in Sydney is still amazing to me.
