Grey but not raining at the moment...absolutely glorious day yesterday which was good news for the classic cars on the seafront, the prom was absolutely full to capacity.

Ah, I spoke too soon, rain drops on the windows in the last few seconds.

A little bit grey, but actually quite nice here.

I wish OH wasn't at work however :(

Hi Pyxis, good to see you on the NPT!

Was wondering, in order to post on here, do I have to take a test to prove I'm a NP? :D
If I don't pass first time, do I get a second chance after some rehab?

Nope, just 2 questions (can't remember if you have been asked already):

    Do you like mushrooms?

Do you live in inner Herts (Hertfordshire) or outer Herts (everywhere else)? :)

Without knowing it, you have already passed. It's called the mushroom test. You can like them or despise them, both are correct answers. An incorrect answer would be "what the heck do you want to know that for, you bunch of weirdos", before flouncing off.

Oh, Viva, as you're here, what are your views on the Ovidiu Anton issues last week?

I personally think it's better to withdraw services from May 15th, but that's just me (or not, as the fan groups have been saying).....

    Oh, nearly forgot.
    I live in Outer Herts.
    Sowee. :(

Does that make me a second-class NP?

I don't think it is worth doing anything. Romania should have paid its dues, as always it's the little guy who gets hurt. Ironically he'll probably do better out of the sympathy vote. I don't think he would have got out of the semis, the song is not good enough, so more people may hear of him this way.

Nah. I live in Sydney and am a first class NP. And I'm not even very nice!

Agreed, but I still think that a) TVR shouldn't have said they'd pay and not paid, and b) the EBU could have handled it a lot better.

Although with the issues with flags, maybe the Romanian flag is allowed now, too ;)

I've got one you can borrow if you're going :)

I'm considering a small wager on the UK. The song is much better and catchier than our last few and the odds are ludicrously long. I don't think it will win, but may see what I can get for top five or top ten.

I also think Belgium is worth a punt, decent odds, decent song, May also get a sentimental vote due to the horrors.

I'm still undecided as to who will win. I've got it right for the last three four years, but they were easier to choose. Nothing is standing out this year. Maybe Russia? France, Belgium and UK are my favourites. It's great that France has actually tried this year. I don't think Sweden will do the double.
