Hi guys,
I'm post-migraine and full of cold, so while kids are at school/preschool I've literally just been sat on my bum watching episodes of Catfish (my guilty pleasure).
About to get up and whizz around a bit before preschool run.
Other things:
- All meals, packed lunches from stores
- Check fuel provider to see if switch has gone through (it has, £30 pm saved!)
- Make final plan on how to switch our bank accounts around to make best use of incentives as well as better sense of money
- Take meds
- Get around to decanting hotel miniatures into larger bottles
- Rest

Hello All
It is snowing, just what our sheep need after weeks of rain.
Been a good NSD and a good work day and a good health day. So all round a very good day.
Speak soon, take care on the roads.

Well it's been a productive day for me so far
* spent a couple of hours doing job searching and have found a couple I will apply for
* agreed to take part in a research project - hopefully they will come back and confirm & that will be £30 towards this month's shortfall
* called up alleged (not so alleged anymore!) BB supplier and because this fiasco has been going on for so long they have offered me £20 to apologise but the offer is no longer available. This will go to our overpayment pot. Taking it to £64 and the monthly target is £80 :T
To do:
* [STRIKE]flaylady bathroom & possibly bedroom - on top of bedroom so should be quick
[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]possibly NSD but I might walk down to coop for strawberry's and cream for pancakes tonight (might not as might do lemon & sugar with icecream)[/STRIKE]
* if I walk down to the shops I'll pay wages into bank decided against buying anything and just using what we have
* all meals from stores - excluding the above if I go
*[STRIKE] bath & read book in a minute[/STRIKE]
* search out BB supplier
* load of washing & hang up
That's my lot. Happy shrove Tuesday guys mmmmm
Happy with my achievements today
as well as the above I went out for a walk for 45 minutes, updated my frugal living ss, read some of my gardening book& dug out recipe for savory pancakes :T
I've also done a meal plan for the next week and a shopping list
Will do the washing later and get dgd's things ready for the cm tomorrowDF as at 30/12/16

Morning all :hello: thanks for starting us Ally, hope the headache passes Cat. Just 4 more days

My list for today:
Check bank, update sheet, PAD. Got paid dividends on some free shares form work :j straight to CC
Check surveys and FPL, have a RM one to send later
Meals from planner/ stores
Washing drying on airer, was on 30 overnight
Got a call yesterday from my BTL provider after I'd emailed a complaint as after 4 attempts they hadn't changed my address and when they did it was wrong meaning my personal details twice went to other people  they gave me £50 and apologised :T
One thing of February/annoying list. They seemed to have merged together :rotfl:
Man coming later for quote for some work
Think that's all, have a good day
Good day all round :T plus done some real soul searching about my business and gave my self a bit of a talking too
I've done a plan today and am now ready to go for it. Am excited.
I also nearly fell off the wagon, on a DFW topic. I have the opportunity to buy my company car when the lease ends and then sent me a price. It looks a really good price and I was tempted (DH has a knackered car, which really needs replacing but we don't have the money) however, quick search on some second hand sites showed the priced looked good but really wasn't
*** wonders off to add saving for car to plans after DF***0 -
Update time:
List for today:
Hens and dog already fed
Cheap breakfast using free fruit from freezer (done)
Dog walks x 2 Done - unfortunately puppy got attacked by a horrible little dog whose elderly owner let go of his lead this morning
I grabbed him before too much damage had been done, thankfully, so no vet needed. He was hurt, and it did frighten him though - he is tiny, only 7 months old and so defenceless
Most dogs are fine with puppies, but you only need one
Visit farm supplier for chicken food and bedding. Also compost for repotting small trees if they have the right sort (might need the garden centre for that) Done, got eveything needed
Go to sales unit to tidy up / see if anything needed All ok, a couple of small sales by the looks of it
Buy bananas from market while out Done
Take some items to the charity shop Oops not done
Maybe check out pound shop for seeds and seed potatoes Done, bought some, as they had packs of seed potatoes and shallots for 89p each. Also bought some carrot, spring onion and broad bean seeds. Only climbing French beans needed now, and these will probably need to come from the garden centre.
HM meals from stores Done
No heating on except in bathroom and airing cupboard Done
Light wood burner later Done
Any surveys, FPL etc Done
List another small item on ebay (I listed something yesterday and it has bids :T) Listed 2 things
Do some housework Done a very little
Managed to get out in the garden and clean out the chickens and tidy up (much more fun than housework)
Also got OH to help me repot my lovely dwarf quince tree

- pop into town to post bits sold on eBay, cash some coins and print letter off to one of my creditors NEEDED BREAD AND GOT SOME YELLOW STICKER CASSEROLE BEEF!
- school run and dinner from stores for kiddies DONE
- OH got a free £10 voucher at work for working so hard so is treating me to homemade Chinese dinner which he bought (all one his own!!!!) yesterday
Wondering if anyone can help. My downstairs neighbours are not very nice people, very rude, aggressive, intimidating and keep moaning about the noise my children make. Now I know they can be noisy and I do try to keep it down but they are kids and I am sick of feeling scared of them. I spoke to estate agent and he recommended exactly what I knew, speak to environmental health and report them for harassment if it continues. Just making me feel emotionally sick.
I had a nap for an hour as keep getting really bad tension headaches and woke with an even worse one. Kids have been good, tiptoeing around!!!! Had a run in with OH about why he needs to fill the kettle up all the way to boil water when only a small amount is need  this DFW is really making me into a little monster around the home

Hi gang,
I struck lucky today. Free pancakes at work and then a friend returning from Europe brought me a bottle of Polish alcohol as a belated birthday present. I love surprises.

I can confirm work as the source of my headaches. By 10am I was wondering why on Earth I'd bothered going back - should have just taken the full week. Never any thanks for everything you do.
Maria - sorry the weather has been so utterly rubbish to you and the poor sheep.
Dawn - poor pup - hope he's ok...
MTC - rubbish about your neighbours. I'm lucky never to have been in that situation but I can't imagine how stressful it must be.
