all my limit buys are set as I cannot screen watch for a while. Took me hours, all lower than last sold (including all costs to buy) and a couple are quite low. I had the sectors on screen so made sure that I am pretty defensive in an assortment of sectors. Treading water time for ukx at the moment. It is a weight off my mind, having knuckled down to get this done. Now to do nothing and see what happens over the next couple of months

Reeling from last year's Greek and oily mayhem, my knuckling so far this year has mainly involved buying a world tracker. The knuckles are feeling a little underused. Not an entirely unpleasant sensation.

I was left with plenty of time to surf the internet. Stumbled across an Italian mobster name generator and am now Alphonso the Weasel.

No doubt you'll have some of them trigger today.

hope so masonic but I have set the date to end of the month for now. I think it will carry on trickling down for a few days after today but also lots of buying opps will appear. Lots of forex and market manipulation expected by hedge funds etc. Will take a while to settle

I am sitting on hands now

crikey, I just looked at the portfolio and it is up £4k in a week. I bought a few shares a short while ago and only another two triggered yesterday. UK stock market is holding up very well. I may well revise my 11 remaining limit buys this weekend

Crikey is not far off my reaction here too.
Was expecting to see my total portfolio value massively down close of Friday but it made a gain. I was bracing myself for a lot of pain that so far has not materialised.

India, Asia, Latin America, Russia and my fundsmith investments all went up nearly 6% each in a day.

Appreciate 1 day Is a poor timescale to measure anything by, but I was a bit surprised at the massive gains I saw with all the doomsday talk about all investments prior to the vote.

Would now be a good time for a beginner investor to purchase some stocks and shares? Or would it be more prudent to wait?
