And only for the Big Breakfast, the branch I visit nearly always cook it fresh to order so it's always good, I emailed customer services about it being withdrawn, reply below:-
Dear .......
Thank you for your email and I’m sorry you’re disappointed that we’ve removed the Big Breakfast from our breakfast menu. The Big Breakfast has formed part of our menu since 1983 and we understand that it is both a nostalgic and popular choice with some of our customers.
As a business, we’re constantly evolving and reviewing our menu choices to make sure all the products we offer are what our customers really want. These reviews allows us to look at the menu as a whole or introduce new products to our core menu.
Of course, this does mean that from time to time, we may replace an item or withdraw it completely, as in this case with the Big Breakfast. We realise that it’s not always possible to make everyone happy and again I am sorry that you have been particularly affected by this decision.
It goes without saying we value all customer feedback, positive or otherwise. Any comments we receive about this recent change and are being monitored and shared with the relevant departments as a matter of course.
Thank you again for taking the time to contact us.

Its this that annoys me most!
This line in the email "We realise that it’s not always possible to make everyone happy"
I would love them to clarify who would be happy about the removal of an item on the menu (and replaced with nothing), you're either completely indifferent to the decision (as you've never ordered it) or you're very disappointed as you like the product. I can't think of anyone who would actually be happy they've reduced the menu!0 -

Obviously the Big Breakfast wasn't very popular. By removing it they free up cooking and preparation space to try out new products. For example the sausage and bacon sandwich I saw advertised the other day.0 -

I also found this out one morning. It's not something I have often at all.. However, my local franchise owned McDonalds are still serving it!?0

Are there any items in the big breakfast that don't appear anywhere else on the menu?
If so, some places may simply still have a good stock of these and are keeping the BB on the menu until they have used up their stocks.0 -
I found out about the demise of the Big Breakfast this morning. Gutted.
I don't like the round egg so I had the new sausage, bacon and onion sandwich without cheese and it wasn't very nice and was tiny so nowhere near as filling as a big breakfast.
I emailed them to express my disappointment about them stopping the Big Breakfast and that I didn't like the Sausage and Bacon sandwich that I had instead and they have replied basically saying tough, that's the way it is but they say that they are sending me vouchers so I can 'try some of their other breakfast items' :-)
I might try the sausage and egg bagel or the breakfast wrap, again without cheese, what is it with the cheese? Who on earth has cheese in bacon/sausage sandwiches?? Or the pancakes and sausage, I had forgotten that they did those.
Still disappointed about the end of the Big Breakfast though, I would have thought that it was up there with the Big Mac, as their signature breakfast item? Maybe they'll see sense and bring it back?0 -

Only the tray that it comes in. The sausage, muffin and hash brown are the same as those used in the sausage muffins and hash brown and the liquid egg that they use to make the scrambled egg is the same as what they use to make the omeletty thing that comes in the wrap and the bagel.
Maybe doing the scrambled egg is too taxing for them? Or that rubbish that they pretend is butter that they put on the muffin - maybe they have loads of that left?0 -

The only two groups of people who will be happy about this are:
- The shareholders/owners, who have got rid of a weak menu item.
- Maybe some pepole who are against McDonalds/fatty fast food.0
