Mobile Gaming Subscription

So to cut it short, my phone number has been subscribed to a mobile gaming subscription, costing me £4.50 per week.

Now I certainly didn't set it up, so I rang Vodafone (who are slowly becoming the worst company I have ever dealt with) and they have told me......There is nothing they can do!

I either have to cancel my contract (costing me £115 (I only pay £23pm) or keep paying the subscription..... To say I was gob smacked would be an understatement.

Any advice is greatly appreciated :)

    Slowly? You are very lucky.

They can stop all premium charges for your account, but you have to be very persuasive because they will vigorously deny that they can - either deliberately (they get their lion share for collecting payments) or because of the blatant incompetence.

At least they can tell you what company they are collecting money for and share the proceeds with, so that you could unsubscribe.

I've been told twice now that the literally have no details as to who the money is going to.

I'd go in store to talk to someone face to face, but I always get the "we're retail only" bull.

It's time to realise at last that not a single word told you by Vodafail can be trusted. Incompetence and lies are a norm for this company.

I'd be surprised if it's different in stores.

So if I can't trust them, what can I do?

I don't know. Have a look at the sticky at the top of the board. And vote with your feet as soon as you are free to leave.
