    Gosh this made me chuckle:rotfl:

we were having tea tonight, the remains of yesterdays lasagne, salad and chips-
GS said do you ever make homemade chips? to which my DH said I would love homemade chips but with all the offers on and so much food in the freezers that time is a long way off- We bought an actifry over 1 year ago and it is sat in the back of the cupboard and never been used:eek::eek::eek:

weve stopped getting frozen chips and have gone back to home made ones from spuds :p they are so so so much nicer.

Dinner tonight, the most expensive thing on the plate was the frozen sweetcorn. Everything else was less than 5p each for all 4 of us. The mince was free on a loyalty scheme with our butcher and another 1lb in the fridge. :money:

  • If there are no signs up then they can't "fine" you. Not sure of the intricacies of it all but suggest you appeal on that basis.

I have no idea whats done there tbh. They used to charge and then stopped for the last approx 1yr - 18 months. I was actually shopping and then went to the cinema.

I'll have a mooch around the fine forum

It sounds like you are being kept busy snap...can you not escape for a long walk?

:) It was easy when I had my dog, off we'd go down the farm & across the fields ....
Now not so easy but there is a Garden Centre 200 yds away, how many excuses can I make for going there? :rotfl:
Card for new baby, cardboard for sign, wireless door bell, look at the fishes, fresh eggs, expensive Lindt chocolate, a shrub maybe?

Moan to the MANAGER and see if they cancel it. If not appeal without revealing the driver (including not using I in the appeal. "the driver" etc).

If it gets rejected give me a shout for a popla appeal. Get pics of the signs next time you visit.

    Thanks henrik. It's so annoying.

I'll be going back monday i think

Elite shopping experts I need your advice please ASAP

I am looking at silk ties that would go nicely with a navy suit and a white (or pink ) shirt.

The tie needs to have a very tiny animal design in it - the sort of design that is so tiny you don't realise what it is unless you are up close.

Pigs have been suggested - possibly too obvious.
Or pheasants - I think these would be really lovely if I could find pheasants.

I've been sent a link with little tiny turtles - John Lewis £25 - no I have not taken leave of my senses - its eldest child's BF birthday and I've just asked her what he really fancies.

So that is this weeks assignment. The birthday is the 7th so I need to get cracking. If I decide to go with the JL option I can collect from Birmingham and I think I have to go there this week for something else if I can figure our what day ...

To do this you have to do this on a week when everything is running smoothly so you need a level playing field ..
