Had to laugh.

DGD, playing cashier on the till, and unprompted by me: 'Oh. This has gone through at £3. It's meant to be 50p. Can you show me where you got it from please. (Pauses for me to show her.) Oh dear, I'll have to ring the boss now. Can I take your name please.'

DGD rings the boss. 'There's a customer here and the thing is going through the till at £3 and the label says it's meant to be 50p. Oh. OK then. I'll charge 50p just this once.'

DGD to me: 'Just this once you can have it for 50p.'

Next item. Performance repeated. Including taking my name each time, making a phone call and telling boss 'It's that same customer again.'



I think DD has a lot to answer for...

Just been to Aldi to stock up on fresh fruit and veg ready for new life which starts tomorrow
Have downloaded the Joe Wicks Lean in 15 book - has anyone tried his food/exercise plans?

A reminder about the Sains extra Nectar points giveaway from a couple of weeks ago - today is the last day to have the points from the voucher added to your card, did mine today as I hadn't got round to it before

Can you just go to customer services to have the points added.
Just to muster up some energy to drive to S to do this.

Thanks to you and everyone that posted wishing him well. He is not back from theater yet, he got delayed for an emergency went in at 10.30 and not back apparently taking longer than planned as so much damage . but hopefully out doon and he will be ok.

A few different ones are 10p in some A's (eg bread sauce, sausage casserole)

Thank you both. So my plan now is drive to S. Get points added. Take dog for walk and end up in A's half hour before closing to hopefully get some whoopsi's and wombles
Dog walking might have to come after A's, depending on traffic.
Or could walk dog round A's car park lol
