Thank you I will. The girl that owns the beauty place we go to has already offered 2x£10 vouchers.
I will ask a couple of local restaurants thats a good idea. I hate asking people for things but it's for Cancer research not me personally I have to remind myself of that.

When I used to fund raise I always got a good response from the local fish and chip shop, either a bottle of wine, or a fish and chip supper for two.

I found local companies to be more helpful but maybe that was because it was a local cause.

The local bowling alley was also another good one, but I never had any luck from local supermarkets.

I used to go armed with a begging letter on headed notepaper not in an envelope, which I found the small companies would read there and then but I guess just got passed to another department in bigger companies.

Good Luck with your efforts Di. :A

hi ,hows tessa?were her test results ok?

Oh thanks for asking :). Yes I went to vets yesterday for the results and its just a lipona (fatty lump) and we will just monitor it for now. She has her half yearly check up in May, so will be checked again then. So relieved :)

Thank you I didn't think of the Chip shop we have a couple. The place I'm having it at are donating a voucher as well as donating some of their takings. Its good publicity for them aswell.

    a question.

has anyone had any dealings with 2 companies called vidbliss and lilplay?

    yes I've googled

No its not me. Its my youngest again - he is 24 for goodness sake and still they go making stupid mistakes

Yes I have sent a message to his bank or at least about one of them. The other I've just realised is doing the same so I need to get permission before I contact the bank again

No mhoc sorry not heard of either of those.

Thanks for that highlight, loved the colour for my Mum. Thought I was being all clever reading the Ts & Cs on Quidco (8% + 20% if using their code) then promptly went and ordered without clicking through Quidco....Muppet ;)

:) Your local Wetherspoons is also a good place - they usually donate a voucher for a meal for 2 :)
