Sarah take it easy with that foot of yours ...would it not be more comfy if you strapped it up.

Popped to Lidl with my friend and picked up 2 boxes of lovely healthy looking primula various colours 40 in total for £5 =25p per plant:T also baby plum tomatoes, celery and onions @ 39p each.

Nanny, I have strapped it up now, still very painful though.

You are never too old to enjoy Disney :D

Reminds me of when we went to Lapland, there was a couple there in their sixties, no kids, no grandkids in tow, they just fancied going to Lapland :T:T:T

    Good morning all....

not been around much as feeling totally deflated and rather numb at the moment....2016 is clearly not panning out as a vintage year.

I've not read back but hope everyone is enjoying life or at least trying to cope....x
This last week has seen the death of a grandparent and life altering news for our beloved cat.....

I argued with HP over a warranty issue with a laser printer, outside the 1 year period by 7 months.

It was for work, and we do have a fair amount of HP kit - I included these points in my argument.

But they did agree to look at it, and in the end repaired free of charge. So worth writing to them.

The address I wrote to at the time (2013) was:

    Hewlett Packard
    Official Complaint
    FAO Nick Wilson’s office
    Cain Road
    Bracknell
    RG12 1HN

The 2 years that you first posted is a European warranty, we don't go by that, because our laws are more generous.
You are right about the 6 years but it is UP TO 6 years.
As I said earlier any electrical item must last a reasonable amount of time. I would say a printer should last more than 14 months.
The OP needs to contact the retailer ( if no joy from the manufacturer ) and ask for an out of warranty claim.

I did this with Currys on a 30 month old tv, I had to pay £60 for the claim but if you win you get it back.
After having the tv back 3 times with the exact same fault they offered me half the original cost ( £450 + £60 ) :) And since tv's prices had dropped considerably by then I bought a better tv for an extra £250 :D

Oh and the tv is still in use now 4 years later :rotfl:

    Edit : http://blog.moneysavingexpert.com/2013/10/22/how-long-do-you-have-to-take-faulty-goods-back/

Thanks all. Will ring them tomorrow.

Can't remember if I bought it from Tesco or Costco.

The printhead has a problem. On their website it says it is a known problem and to enter your serial number to check warranty status. Then it tells me the warranty has expired. Then it goes through some test stuff and says I will get a callback within 48 hours.

As it happens the cartridges are all virtually empty, so if it was going to fail now is a good time to do it.

I this this will do for the Nerf family

    Disney’s Sequoia Lodge, Coupvray

Taking its cue from America’s national parks, this wood-and-stone edifice also overlooks Lake Disney and is surrounded by gardens and greenery. The interior is just as impressive, notably around the inviting Redwood Bar, where the flagstone floor and open fireplace provide an atmosphere of rugged gentility. It is big, though, with 1,011 rooms split between the huge main building and five lodges around it. The large freeform pool also has an indoor/outdoor aspect, and the two restaurants provide a wide variety of family-friendly options. Its outdoor terrace is a gorgeous place to sit with a drink of a summer evening.

    We will rough it:D:j:j:j

We have stayed there. The hotel is a long walk from the park entrance. The pool is also cold.

I hope you bought it from Costco, I think they would take it back anyway, even outside the warranty. Would be handy if you could trace the transaction somehow, don't know if they keep a record of what is bought on which account?
