Can I ask if everyone's running totals are correct for their nectar point please.
Mine was correct up until last night, then all bonus points have disappeared from the receipt when I went again today!
TIA
yes all mine are correct.
I've also had on both of my cards an additional till spit which said spend £20 get an added 200 so this seems to have gone on today. I did buy some badly fitting clothing though so I expect it will be taken off again later in the week“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. I'm late to this Sains thing:o - I've also just noticed as to what it is:o:o.
I've concluded that it's not worth getting groceries from Sains as I am most likely to get a coupon for 200 points - in other words just £1 off a £10 spend (which, even if reduced to about £5 by comparing against A) is just not enough percentage discount for me. (And of course I still end up paying them the £10 in any event, the rest is then coupons that has to be spent at Sains, so they always end up with the £10 it just affects how much you get from them for that spend.)
It is far easier and far more worthwhile to pick up wombles from A, which are often in excess of £1 and do not require any minimum spend to obtain them!
However, I have decided that Sains petrol is certainly worth going for. I can't spend wombles against petrol - would therefore have to pay A (or somewhere else) the full fuel bill and Sains, even though they are almost always exactly 0.2p per litre more expensive:mad:, getting a "£1" coupon back off a £10 spend, which I would do anyway, would be more than I would get at A.
And, here, Savvy was finally leading up to the point (having set out all the detail in a logical manner:rotfl:) - am I correct in thinking that the Swipe & "Win" coupons, which I may spend on Sains groceries by 21 February, require no minimum spend and therefore the 200 points coupon is exactly equivalent to £1 cash to spend in Sains? (I think the 'confusion' for me, although it does not say anything about 250 points redemption, is that a Nectar card has to be swiped when redeeming the coupon - I associate Nectar points redemption with 250 points redemption - where I am getting the other 25p (50 points) from (should I "win" 200)? The Swipe and Win coupons say 200 points or whatever yet those 200 points are not actually added to my card? The coupon is just like a voucher for £1 off? That I can use it against a £1 shop, with my Nectar card being swiped in validation of it, without any further ado and pay them no cash for that shop at all? I do not have to spend 250 points divisible amounts? There is no minimum spend on the redemption shop? TIA.)
What I am not doing is spending £10 on petrol, getting a 200 points coupon (most likely) and then spending a £10 grocery shop in Sains against which I use that 200 points and have to pay them £9! Can someone confirm that, indeed, I can get my £10 petrol tomorrow, which is only about 2p more expensive than A, due to the 0.2p per litre extra cost of S, get 200 points coupon or whatever and then spend that against a £1 grocery shop in S - no cash needed? The "minimum spend" is £1 as that is the value of the coupon. TIA.
You have to make a second trip or get them added to your card at CS. So your 200 would go on your nectar card, redemption value £1, but they only redeem against your shopping in multiples of 500 points or £2.50.
Hth. But remember it ends today. x“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

I must admit it is the coughing that's so annoying, I couldn't lie down last night in bed but was propped up by 6 pillows:eek: it eased the coughing a little

I did far better on the petrol than the instore points yesterday...my 2000 came via petrol where I had filled 2 green plastic cans with a total of £10.01....the guy infront of me also got 2000 so I was really surprised when the cashier gave me my till spit too.
That is making the most of the promotion LEJC. :T
I did ask what time the petrol station was open until when I had finished filling mine, and they did say 11pm.
But having already gone back out with Mr TS's car I don't think I would get away with taking petrol cans, not sure I could even find them in his workshop, and if I even hinted at him that's what I was going to do I would get an earful. :rotfl:0 -
