I am feeling like a right wuss with my moaning now that I know you and tweets have been putting up with this much longer than me. :o

Hope you both feel better soon. :A

I think the problem is I was rather naughty and never went back for my "healthy" check after my bronchitis last summer. :o When it started Friday I sounded like an engine I was really out of it with temperature too. I should have gone back before now when I was ok, it has actually frightened me so I am definitely booking in for the check with the nurse. Thankfully I still had some steroid inhaler left which has helped loads.

Hope you hilbern and tweets all get better soon. There seems to be a lot of it about, ds3 was poorly for nearly a month. He just got better and now has an awful cough, sounds more like barking, he will definatly be going to doctors this week if it does not improve, even if I have to drag him there. Make sure you get your check to Tiny x

Adding call of trouty to the get well soon list. Hope I have not missed anyone else x

Are we having to spend £10.01 rather than exact £10?

I wasn't sure Savvy so I went slightly over by a few pence each time. :o

Think someone has already mentioned there is no minimum spend on redeeming you points coupons. It just says scan with your nectar card. Although they could not do this in the petrol station for me they said it had to be done instore.

I was trying to bank my coupons as I went so I was only left with one at the end but I couldn't as I did 6 petrol shops and only 2 instore.

Snap Ant I keep meaning to say - I swear blind me and you have the same people on Facebook - nearly every pic or meme you post on here has either been on my news feed in the last few hours or appears a few hours afterwards :rotfl:

    ;) We could have
I'm on my 4th cold since the end of november and had a constant cough since then. Gone through about 40 packs of Jakemans

Oh it's ended today - I thought it was tomorrow!:(

So I need to go to CS by 21 February but then the extra points do not expire and last on the card "forever"? I do not have to spend the points by 21 February?

Petrol stations will be closed by now won't they? I presume paying at the pump could still be done though and would still dish out a Swipe and Win coupon? I am correct on this? TIA. (Sorry for all the questions!)

My petrol station said they were open until 11pm.

Yes the extra points once added do not expire, unless there is something in the t&cs of Nectar that you can only keep them so long but that would apply to any Nectar points.

I don't think you can do it on Pay at pump. Someone did mention it the other day. I don't know if anyone tried. HTHs

    You not a wuss :A

I don't help myself when I have a cold I don't believe in taking any medicine because in years gone by when I have, they haven't helped me.

    :)

Off for a Bingo session in our social club, taking along my DN who won on her first time - second time called too late :o so this time she better be concentrating - what with texting, FB & marking her tickets

I have enough pressure just marking six tickets - admittedly I'm filling in the squares with 2 even strokes of my Stabilo boss marker, no going over the edges, rather than with those ghastly messy dabbers :p

So the petrol stations are open but not the actual stores?

I'm confused! I have to make a second trip. That much is obvious, if I am to spend the coupon. I do *not* have to have the coupon added to my card instead I can just spend it, by 21 February, against a shop costing £1. If I choose to get it added to my card, it then goes to my points on there and I can only spend it in 250 points amounts?

You have to make a second trip or get them added to your card at CS. So your 200 would go on your nectar card, redemption value £1, but they only redeem against your shopping in multiples of 500 points or £2.50.

Hth. But remember it ends today. x

That is obvious, if I am to spend the coupon I get. Ignore the rest - I do not have to have the points coupon added onto my card. Is that correct?

The two of you are saying two different things. This is my understanding, that you get say a 200 points coupon and can spend that against a £1 shop, with your card being swiped, next time (by 21 February). It is then fully redeemed.

So my original understanding is correct? Ignore the bit about going to CS to get points coupons added to cards! It is a red herring - I am more confused now than before I asked my questions!
