In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Got back late last night and had a fab two days away!
Ate out at Rick Steins seafood restaurant at Sandbanks on Friday night which was just excellent and had a lush few days with the gf and my friends from school.
Weather was beautiful in the morning so we got to play on the beach and paddle in the sea (freezing!) but had a torrential downpour in the afternoon which led to lots of giggles and some time on the 2p machines in the arcade on the pier :heartpuls:
Much needed NSD today kicked off with a trip to the gym: 5km run and a circuit training routine completed and even managed to do the stretches after!
Let the boys out this morning and went off to the gym- got home and was happy to find them racing around the garden and they came in to say hi which was lovely! Slowly getting there with letting them out more and using that cat flap!
£3 Pinecone received and swept across to the mortgage.
The really exciting news is we went to trailfingers to talk Oz next year and got some brochures and chatted to the guy who is going this month- got some fab suggestions and ideas. Looking to book flights from next month and then get cracking with the planning! We are definitely stopping in songapore so fingers crossed for the Grand Prix being confirmed!!
Gf's mum is giving her some funds towards the holiday from her 40th in June so think that will cover the tickets and pay for another smaller tour.
We're thinking the east coast starting in Sydney, drive up a little, fly to the Whitsundays then back and fly to Cairns to chill there. Lot s to plan and budget inFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0 -
It sounds like you had a lovely weekend, and the rain didn't spoil your fun
I enjoy going on the 2p machines at arcades... I struggle to find much else that gives me that amount of enjoyment and for such a long time as £1 converted into 2p machines at the arcade! I'd say that's a MSE activity
Your Oz trip sounds like it will be amazing, and something so nice to look forward to. How nice of gf's mum to put money towards the trip for her 40th birthday present - that's definitely a present she'll remember. I'm glad it worked out after the previous holiday disappointment earlier in the year. I hope this trip is as amazing as it soundsMortgage: Mar 2018 -£300,000 / Jul 2021 -£255,000 / Oct 2024 -£172,835 (1.27% Interest until Feb 2027)

Amazing what a day off can do for you. Works been a bit better today- stressful four weeks have been concluded and the thing I can't talk about is finally sorted and cleared
Still not liking the job and looking at other options, but at least the stress and anxiety has reduced a bit!
Payday on Friday- lots of payouts this month means money will be really squeaky, especially given the Bournemouth spends this weekend. Dentists appointment booked for Wednesday for general check-up, then into orthodontists the following Friday alongside a £400 payment being due :eeek
Spent yesterday dreaming on forums, Pinterest and travel brochures of our Australia trip. Need to crack on with the commissioned bangles tonight whilst gf away. Just having my lunch and a cuppa then will get crackingFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Thanks Charley, we have plenty of time for saving for it so this time it should happen!
Gym on Sunday was good but has ruined me- still struggling to walk today
Gf is putting the £100 into the OP pot this month now all the work stuffs had blown over! Hurrah! Also my expenses have been approved so should receive £240 back next week.
Pay day on Friday- tonight's dinner was an odd concoction for me: new potatoes saut!ed with cabbage courgette onion & bacon with stuffing on the side. Gf had eggs beans and bacon. Delicious and using up stuffs from the fridge.
Took last nights leftovers to work today so another NSD achieved hurrah!
Dentist appointment tomorrow so fingers crossed that my teeth are doing ok, ready for next weeks braces!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

£4.02 OP'd today so now at £11.24 for September.
Onepoll is at £39.65 so itchingly close to the £40 payout- aiming for Friday to hit the magic £49 for auto payout.
Prolifics been quiet recently: need to take actual lunch breaks and check
If any studies are available.
Lunch is made for work tomorrow using some just OOD and some bacon gifted by parents (they had too much!)
Small spend on Starbucks card today- I first used my free coffee from using the card and then bought a small coffee later. It's a prepaid card so not too bad, and was nice to catch up with my old colleague
Also whilst waiting for friend to arrive popped into Lidl to buy 2x mini tortilla wraps as we eat a lot of them and they have a good shelf life (& are half the price at Lidl) so 98p for two packs.
My pension increase has been accepted which means it'll take the increased amount from octobers salary: which means £17 off my net pay but an increase of £80 per month into pension pot (thanks to work doubling my contributions and the tax/NI benefits.
The pension alongside the SIP contributions and the small Lisa payments mean I'm making little payments to the retirement funds currently.
A friend has sent me some links regarding matched betting: it peaks my curiosity but worries me that I'll get a bit carried away playing....will mull it over some more.First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Glad you had a good weekend and it must be great to go back to work with all the trouble resolved, even if you're still going to look elsewhere.

Payslip was in today and pension contribution change happened this month already so that's a big positive
Had great luck with prolific on my lunch and earned £7.65 so just awaiting it clearing and now need only 10p on Onepoll to get cashout!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
