Have spent the last few days reading through your diary
You and the gf seem to be doing really well. Call me nosey, but I just love reading about peoples' day-to-day lives. I am in Aus, so things are a little different here. I think I read a few pages back that you are planning a visit? Have you decided which parts yet?
We've not got any firm planning in but have been reading some travel blogs re best places to visit and making a note of the things that excite us: Sydney is on the list and I think I would love to do the Whitsundays if the temperature if good. There's so much to see and do though!
Whereabouts are you from in Aus?First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0 -
KK I am in Queensland, a couple of hours inland a.k.a in a pretty boring part
I don't really have much advice on touristy things, as I've never done much of that. But would definitely recommend snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef. Or you you don't like swimming, you can do a glass-bottom boat tour. Or both0 -
Must be the day for yougov as I got one today as well!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Great stuff DFOD!
I like the idea of snorkeling/glass bottomed boats- that's definitely on the list. We've seen a kangaroo reserve as well that has awards for its ethical treatment so that's also a potential! So exciting, but we need to save a lot before we plan anything properly. As it's summer holiday season I'm definitely feeling envious of people's travels but I am reminding myself all in good time and the emergency funds and house stuff needs to take priority.
Had a day visiting family after the gym visit, now finally home and debating dinner. We managed to talk ourselves out of dinner in town or takeaway as we are waiting for payday and don't need to spend the money! Catching up with Suits and then going to make something yummy!
Leftover apple crumble for dessert too...win!
Edited to add: NSD today too!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Another NSD today! Went to the gym first thing and then went to mum & dads for lunch.
Came home and I had a Potter in my jewellery studio (sounds posh!) as I have had an order via fb! Annoyingly though I do not have two key pieces of silver to make it so will need to order on pay day and then have a play.
I played with some resin (mixing chemicals) however I think I mixed the first batch using two different sorts (I used low viscosity resin with the wrong hardener so fingers crossed the bangle turns out wellI've now left it well alone as obviously having one of those days.
Dinner is something chicken related as we got it out of the freezer defrosting, followed by the last few spoons of crumble
Just about to watch the Girl on the train which we got as the sky VIP offer they have at the momentgf off to Glasgow in the morning so spending a little quality time together this afternoon!

Had an unexpected EBay sale- the fuel band sold for £8 plus p&p
Calculated the profit using the fee calculator ShanghaiJimmy shared on his thread and duly moved £6.77 to the mortgage OP
Will post in the morning.
Empty perfume bottle also sold for £1,99 plus postage: when it pays will move £1.67 to mortgage pot....it will all help.
£3 more has cleared on prolific taking me to £20; I'm tempted to withdraw it now but am stopping myself- may as well only pay the 20p withdrawal charge for one transaction. Hoping for more from there tomorrow- would be great to reach £25 this month. Awaiting the Pinecone credit hitting Paypal currently before op'g that
£56.23 now OPd so far for August which isn't too bad at all!
Oh and we also finally ordered our tiles today- should be able to collect them on Friday. Saved 15% because we told them we were using our tiler so saved £11.25. We'll put that towards grout cleaner for the kitchen floor which is bugging me!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Oooh fab thanks MichaelDH! Let me know how you get on with it- I've found regularly checking it in my laptop has been the best way. I'm n at £24.50 confirmed with another £2.62 pending.
Posted out the fuelband today and the buyer has paid for the empty perfume bottle: I've OP'd the small profit on it and will post it in the morning
Helped friends move today: got there at 4pm and got home at 11.15pm- covered off 40 floors according to my Fitbit! Lots of carrying & packing in exchange for chippy teathey've got a vanload to unload at the new place but the other friends don't have work in the morning so I've left them to it. Their new place is pretty lovely and I think they'll be so happy there!
65p earned on Onepoll today and the £3 Pinecone received and OPd today too.
Payday in the morning so will do the money shuffling. Student loan hasn't been deducted as I've only three months left so called them to set up the DD to prevent overpayment; annoyingly they won't take the DD until November!
My pension didn't get upped as requested- I received an odd email from our (outsourced) HR team who advised that I could set up a pension...I already have one through them....will try the HR live chat tomorrow and see how I get on.
Popping an episode of True detective on and hopefully I'll be in the land of zzz's shortly.First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
