I'm so sorry to hear about your gfI hope she feels better soon, but it might take a while so lots of hugs from you and the kitties are in order. Sending my best wishes to you both xxx

Morning all, nice chilled date day today! Having a cuppa together and catching up on fearless. Gf is using her 'best wifey' mug I got her from moonpig as a silly gift for her birthday :heartpuls
Last OP of the month now made as a small tilly tidy of 60p....all these TTs have added up and we are now at £282.15 for this month. Monthly aim for yearly target is £179.15 so have smashed that one and puts us in good stead as think the next few months will be tight financially.
Booking the kittens in for their castration (feel such a bad kitty mumma!), getting the patio door glass replaced and fitting the cat flap and tiling the kitchen walls so a few big things will be done but they will have a bit of a pinch on our pockets!
Last Jewellery workshop of the term last night and I finished off a three ring set with a gorgeous labradorite (picture on Instagram if anyone wants to nosey) but I managed to lose a gorgeous stone on the workshop floor when I was trying to set it in a piece grrrr
Need to crack on with setting myself up for hallmarking soon so that I can officially start promoting and selling my Jewellery; think that's my summer project, alongside making some 'stock' pieces to then have available when I'm hallmarked and tax registeredbig plans just hope that this will eventually be worth it as a nice creative outlet which pays a little for itself!

You're most definitely not a bad kitty mumma, you're a responsible pet owner!
Good luck with the jewellery business kitten! Let me know when it's sorted, I need some new earrings!!Mortgage Balance as of September 2025 £11,700
Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000.
Aiming to be mortgage free by my 40th birthday, June 2026!0 -
We had a fab date day yesterday, Despicable me 3 was so funny, I love how cutest it is
we went to the street food place with some friends which we enjoyed, but not sure our friends liked it as much.
We then popped over to see some friends to discuss a mini drama that's been going on after the 40th meal last week (it's a very very long story!)
Smashed an 8km run this morning at the gym and just had brunch of cream cheese on a cinnamon bagel (bagel was free from a cashback app yay!) now watching fearless with the snoozing kitties :heartpuls
Pinecone funds credited today so swept that and another tilly tidy of 41p sent, so £3.41 to start off Julys OPs.
Might go look at more tiles this afternoon or go and tinker in the silver room- I have a few pendants to finish off so I'm keen to crack on with those really.First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Sorry to hear about GF's accident and glad to hear she is on the mend. The jewellery business sounds fab - it is great that you have such a marketable talent.0

Today's MSE highlights have been that we've had a NSD as we've been to the gym (body weight exercises today for me) then over to gf's parents for Sunday lunch (we made a chicken curry, and a sev curry for her mum together) and then home and a walk.
Our other MSE activity has been talking each other out of ordering a Chinese, we don't need it and I don't think either of us really wanted it but we were lacking inspiration for dinner. Gf ended up with an egg white omelette filled with veggies, I had Greek yogurt, granola (free on cashback app!) and some fresh raspberries. Yum!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

£200 savings swept into the monthly saver today so savings are increasing slowly.
Had a 9am meeting up in Manchester so have been up and out early so now chilling at home. Unfortunately gf's travel plans got changed to today so she has gone down south until Thursday.
A quick scurry in the freezer and I'm making a bit of a weird concoction for dinner; haggis, trimmed bacon, new potatoes and some stuffing. Will serve with veg (sweet corn and asparagus) and gravy! A very stodgy dinner but I've eaten very lightly today and am really craving it.
£4 coffee bought today so not a NSD- will try harder tomorrow! 33p tilly tidied to the mortgage. I will cal tomorrow afternoon and check the interest for last month and then put together a month in view for June.
Kittens snoozing (like normal) and I am doing sporadic rounds of marching to get my step count up for the day as due to lots of driving (over five hours) today I'm only on 6500First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

NSD not going great....went to Sheffield yesterday for 9am, then had to drive back at 11am so filled up the car (can claim that back) but they also had a huge range of protein powder and sport supplements. Our BCAAs as running out and I swear by them for fending off my post run migraines so bought a tub- £22!
I did pack two coffees and a bagel so I didn't have to buy breakfast, but I thought I'd be home for lunch so didn't pack that; ended up in the office as was having IT issues againso £3.22 on a chicken wrap & salad!
I decided to go for an outdoor run and made myself go- hit 5.1 miles which was a struggle but pleased I pushed myself!
Credit interest received on the joint currency account of £1.53 and a 44p tilly tidy both sent to the mortgage yesterday , £5.61 for July so far.
Painter coming at 9am to cover over that patch on the wall then I'm in the office for a catch up with new boss and to get some pointers on what he wants me to focus on first. Veg chilli and rice from last week is defrosting ready for lunch and will take water bottle, coffee and a bagel too!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
