Just catching up with your diary. Such a shame about the flights - sorry to hear that. Mud run sounds awesome though - well done on that achievement ! Hope the kitties are settling in :)

Evening folks! We've got the kittens!!!

Little Hugo was off exploring as soon as we got. Home and siting on laps, whereas Oscar hid under the sofa for quite a while. He's now gotten over that initial fear and they are asleep on their cat beds we made (well mum in law mostly made!)

Trip to IKEA before as we were only 5miles away so we returned some stuff and bought the correct legs for the bathroom cabinet we've bought. We also had some meatballs which were delicious (but too early to get them free! Booo!)

Now just curled up on each sofa with a cat each! They are adorable- hoping that this link is works: https://instagram.com/p/BSlwVaOli8h/

    :D

a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library

    Oh they are just gorgeous!

If you decide to buy them any scratch posts or climbing trees then have a look via quid co on zoo plus, we've had a lot from them, excellent prices and quality. (No I don't work for them, just a fan of good service)

Enjoy those kitten snuggles, I'd say I'm jealous but with 5 grown up cats of our own, I know how much mischief they can get into!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes for the boys :heartpuls

We've had a few accidents so far (thank goodness for our wooden floors!) but they are so playful and cute!

Left them downstairs overnight (with door open if they wanted to come upstairs) and they were fine. We went to the gym this morning and came back and they were still sleeping! Oscar is a the shy one who hides a bit and Hugo is the naughty boisterous one! We've put some circular holes in a large crisp box and they are loving it, as well as a few balls with feathers on etc.

They are snoozing softly on their pillows just now whilst we watch a film!

£1.25 quidco has cleared so I have requested that back, other than that a quiet day financially!
