Definitely fingers crossed!
Today has been a bit of a naughty day...we ended up succumbing to the Chinese takeaway- our first takeaway in the house!! however it tasted amazing and we ordered just enough for dinner which is progress (we used to order enough to feed the 5000!) so £16 naughtily spent!
Gf is now home from working away, so we've chatted & caught up. I've logged on at home and got some work done this evening which feels productive and I've now been invited to that works do...not sure what's got in but feeling a little more happier that I've been invited :T
Some Onepoll surveys completed and now past the £10 mark wooop!

Glad you were invited to the work do - maybe just an oversight before?Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

It was so worth it I must say
Made up for it today as we're working from home which means all food from stores (just made a lovely toastie sandwich) and at gf's parents for tea tonight!
Not sure if it was an oversight with the missing invite, with the whole restructure piece and my boss being off long term sick I think the big boss is looking to my colleague to fill in but she's not (& it's a bit unfair of them to assume she will without talking to her), anywho I have an invite so now just have to worry about what to wear!!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

First weekend in ages with no plans
Struggling with that recurring calf injury so cried off a morning run/gym session did the physio exercises I was shown a few years back and strapped it up with rockstar tape (bright pink-sexy!!) so nipped to Aldi whilst gf had a run (she's doing couch to 5km and doing amazing!)
Spent £19 in Ald* & £6 in Tescos and have bought enough for probably two weeks. I'm always amazed at how much you can get from Aldi especially if you take advantage of the special deals.
I've bought enough to make:
2 meals of pork saltimboca (one for this week, one for freezer)
Chicken to make chicken stuffed with feta & sundried tomatoes
Turkey meatballs with feta
Sausages for a lean in 15 sausage dish/toad in the hole/sausage & bean casserole
Loads of veg, mini wraps, quinoa, and then a treat of trimmed bacon for sandwiches for lunch today (can't beat a good bacon & mushroom sarnie, especially with some light mayo yum!)
Put it all into my spending app so I can keep track of the budget! Bought some lovely daffodils to brighten up the kitchen :www:
A few bids received on eBay and a few more items ready to go tomorrow evening. Will try and get a few more listed if we can, get rid of the clutter and see some pennies roll inFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

As today is a lazy day, we have been watching episodes of Humans back to back (I find it really gripping!) and doing some household chores such as changing bed clothes, washing a spot of tidying etc!
I've just had a piece of the Christmas cake I made, there's probably two portions left, it's lasted so well I'm impressed!
Did a little Tilly tidy of 33p to the mortgage and then played with some numbers and worked out we have £70 excess in the joint bills account until payday so swept £45 of it across (leaving a little for any emergencies before Tuesday!), feeling pleased with that.
Keep checking all the survey sites but nothing the past few days, listed two things we were given but don't really need on eBay ready to start tomorrow and will put gf's replacement Fitbit charge HR on as well and see if can get £30 for that...all pennies for the mortgage.
We were discussing car boot sales and think we'll start in April- we usually take packed lunches and thermos' to keep warm and prevent spending money on dodgy sausage sandwiches (gf is partial to those!) so will need to find out the thermos as not seen it since we moved so it may still be at her parents.First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Thanks Cookie -no surveys so far so watching the rugby and making eBay listings. Come on Scotland
4/5 items ending tonight have bids so will go, and there are now 6 items listed to finish this week. Feeling quite pleased with this and we have identified three kitchen items to go in the car boot boxes as they are duplicate or not needed (potato ricer anyone?)
Reading lots of diaries and so impressed with the overpayments all the diarists make, think of all that interest saved....First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

eBay clutter (all five items) sold for £31.34 before fees! hurrah! That's at least £22 OP right there
3 buyers have paid already so shall package them up tomorrow and look at whether to post via Hermes or Royal Mail. Not a bad start to this years selling at all.
6 items are on at the moment to end next Sunday, aiming to try and post five items a week if possible...we've certainly got enough clutter to get going (all non joy-sparking, Marie Kondo would be proud!)First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
