Hi All, thank you for your condolences.
We are both pretty distraught, haven’t slept much and can’t eat much but we’re trying to be strong.
Oscar went out last night and we’ve not yet seen him today (not unusual for him, he’s a wanderer), but the house is so quiet without Hugo here with us.
He was only with us for 3 and a bit years but we had a happy home. I know we’ll be okay, it just hurts at the moment. He was our littlelest boy who snuggled up
on the bed at 9pm with us and woke me at ridiculous hours to pad my arm (he couldn’t retract his claws so it stung a bit, but I let him pad & purr as he was so content). We miss him so xFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Afternoon everyone, so it’s payday tomorrow and my small bonus is being paid which is good news.
Oscar is still not home after going out late on Friday night so we’re pretty worried. Although this exact time last year was when he went walkabout for five days.
The house is so quiet but we’re both working away trying to keep distracted and shedding a little tear together.
The patio guys have been here and are busy doing the garden, it’s looking Really good so Far which is nice!
Our friends popped over on Sunday afternoon and bought us a big pot for the garden and a little tree, so when we get Hugo’s ashes we are going to put him in there to rest x It was a very lovely gesture of our friendsFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Oh I hope Oscar returns soon - I can imagine how stressful it must be for you. Perhaps he’s put off by the workmen? Is it worth asking neighbours to check their sheds in case he’s got stuck in one?
Glad the garden is looking good though!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

That’s a good idea MadVix- I’ve popped a message in our neighbourhood Facebook group with his pic asking people to check. We hope he is just sat in the woods at the end of the drive having some private time for his grief and will be home tonight when the work has stopped.
We’ll go for another walk/hike through the woods and fields again tonight with his food and call him in case he’s gone far and lost his bearings. Hopefully if he hears our voices he’ll make his way back home.
We do need him home with us.
glad to be working though as it is providing a good distraction between the episodes of tears from us both. He was our gorgeous little cat and we loved him soFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
