@PurpleFairy26 & @Hazelnutty
Thanks for your comments regarding the job. It’s the third year in a row that I’ve been on this merry go round so I’m sort of used to the anxiety it creates now, it’s just a bit frustrating really. They have also announced massive changes to our terms and conditions of our contracts which if I remain here next year see me lose my monthly vouchers - £100 a month. I use these for Christmas, birthdays and treat spends really so that will be disappointing as it really helps for Christmas.
Theyve released the (ten) presentation packs on the reorganisation (joys of working for a ftse 250 company!). it looks like what is potentially my role in the new structure has 5 jobs assigned to it, however from what we can work out there are ten of us in the pool for it at least- they are doing voluntary redundancy again this year will have to wait and see. It is all assumptions at the minute so need to not get excited, bide my time and what will be will be.
Time to go and touch up the paint on the fence so we can jet wash the patio tomorrowFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Ohhh my last post didn’t post until we’ve finished in the garden- lawn mowed, plants repotted & Fence paint all touched up and the bottom repainted (where the patio’s been done there were gaps).
Now out of old painting clothes and into workout clothes to go get a HIIT session completed- after a cuppa of course 😆First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Two days of working out (5km run on the home treadmill on Friday & a MMA HIIT class on my Centr Fit app) have me like the walking wounded today
I tried to find that The secret life of cats on iplayer but it didn’t come up (and YouTube via my tv didn’t return the correct show either) so will try again today via the phone as it looks totally my type of tv! Glad we got the garden work done yesterday as it’s lashing it down outside today already! Oscar is snoozing away upstairs as he’s been on an adventure in the night- all the way to the industrial estate and over the canal bridges again! (He covered 5km from 9pm-6am!). The tracker is a great investment for us so far and gives me a lot of peace of mind. Bed is stripped this morning and in the wash already- will be dried on the airer as usual. Does anyone else just air dry their washing all year round? I think we’ve only used our tumble drying function on the washer dryer maybe three times
We ordered some hair covers for our dining chairs as the cats have scratched the faux leather (when they were kittens!) so we have tried some covers for £34. They need a little alteration (as our chairs are narrower at the top part) so we’re planning on getting a stitch on today and customising them to fit. I’m pretty pleased as to replace the chairs like for like would have been £240- we found other chairs for £180 but that’s still too much when the chairs work perfectly, they just have lots of claw marks...!

Hey KittenKirst!
I'm amazed by OScar's wanderings! That's a serious range! I can totally see why a GPS collar gives you peace of mind.
I airdry all year round. I had one of those spin dryer things a few years back (is that what they're called? The ones with no heat) but have airdried only for over 10 years. Clothes go on the rack and then I throw bigger things like sheets over the tops of doorsSummer we use the line but when there's a mild spell in the winter, I just pop the rack outside for a bit for some freshness.
Good job on the workouts! OH and I are meeting a Taekwondo instructor later for a try-out. It's an all-women club that has a section for people with conditions that limit their mobility, so we thought it could be an inclusive kind of place we could both train. We both fancy trying a martial art, even though/because it kinda scares us.Choose kind6 -
I've never used my tumble dryer since I moved here. I have a hot water pipe in my airing cupboard (communal hot water so it's always hot), so re-configured the cupboard with just a couple of shelves at the top, a hanging rail and an airer. The washing goes in once it's done and the next day it's all dry. It's the only "room" I've finished and I ❤❤❤ it!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Ohh that’s such a clever usage of the cupboard with the hot water pipe
@South_coast
Taekwondo sounds like it would be fun and interesting to do @Hazelnutty and it’d be great if you can train together- I find that helps with the motivation!
Im feeling all accomplished now as I’ve managed to amend the six covers and they now look fantastic (if I say so myself!)Really pleased that such a small outlay and a little amending has made it look so good, I have celebrated with a croque monsier croissant from a local baker

No tumble dryer here - air dry if it’s wet out (or to finish off if it’s the middle of winter), but otherwise it goes on the line, even in winter. In winter I tend not to bother putting the socks and underwear outside though - too much effort for too little return - they go straight on the radiator.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

We had a great time! DD came as well and was the star of the show (she used to do judo and karate) so now it's a whole-family thing!Choose kind4

@themadvix it sounds like we are definitely in the norm then (at least on these forums anyway
) with drying clothes on airers. We pop ours outside on fair days but it’s inside the rest of the time.
@Hazelnutty sounds a great success then and lovely that DD could share her skills with you too!
This afternoon we have watched a film together on Netflix, but I’ve been feeling under the weather so I haven’t done much else. Really glad we got stuff done yesterday & this morning so I don’t feel too guiltyFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
