Can anyone help please I seem to be stuck at every turn. I want to become a child counsellor and play therapist.
I work full time and my wife is disabled so I can't afford to give up work.
I can only study evening or weekends and that's really limited me in my area where I can study and the only bacp approved place is private at the weekends. It's a lot of money and me and my wife don't have it and I'm trying to find grants or loans to help.
The problem so far is my age I'm 31 and its not a full time course so student loans from the gov seem to be out, princes trust is up to 27.
If anyone can help me please do I've been trying for ages to figure a way to get help towards this.

Hi
Please can anyone help ?? My daughter has just completed her A levels and has been auditioning at several dance colleges in the south of England . She has been offered a place on a pre voc course at a college on Essex which is an amazing achievement as she has only been studying ballet for 2 years ! Unfortunately this year long course had to be funded by ourselves and isn't covered by a career development loan . I'm a single mum , her dad died a few years ago and am not in the position to find that sort of money .
Could anyone give me any advice as it really is her dream to dance .0 -
Hello,
Try this:
http://www.unigrants.co.uk/dance ( of course, you can google others )
Write a donation request letter to the above for which your daughter qualifies.
Intro: Introduce your daughter, and yourself if needs be. Captivate the reader, but keep it short.
Explain the cause: Why you require the donation/grant etc
Specify donation/grant amounts and what it will achieve: Also state the impact of receiving the donation/grant.
Detail the consequences of not receiving a donation/grant: Be careful, you don't want to come across as whining
Finally, thank donors in advance for their support.
Keep the letter short and concise.
Good luck.Hi

I want to become a Primary School Teacher and so far I have applied to do two modules with the OU which are also within the Open Degree which is what I want to do. Then go on to do a PGCE. I also need to re sit three GCSE's. I have not done anything above GCSE apart from one unit of a Level 3. I have applied for SF just waiting to hear but think I may of done it wrong so will need to re apply.
I am married and have two children (hence the need to do my degree through the Open University). We have an income of below 20k! Thank you xLife is too short... To not be YOU!0 -

If those GCSEs are Maths and English and you don't already have a C or above in either, they should be free, regardless of age and income. You will need to check this with the local college though. I know this is true where I am.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Hi
I'm hoping to return to college and do an Access to Medicine course, followed by a Bsc in nutrition.
I did an Access course and BA in 1999 - 2003.
The question is: how can I get funding for the 2nd Access course?
I know I can get NHS help for the Degreee, but am not sure about the Access.
Obviously I am over 24, so don't automatically qualify for anything!
Any advice would begreatly appreciated...
