National Museum Of Scotland great to spend a few hours in. A few years since I've been there but was (is?) free.

    Hi,

awe jings, remember when youse set out last year just to collect the World Cup, all youse had to do was turn up. :rotfl:

I've got loads of happy menories from last years RWC.
Some of the best ones were at St James Park, watching SA doing a number on Scotland - but having a cracking time with the Scots who were around us (IIRC, they were from Heriots, or maybe Melrose). & watching the kilt wearing Saffirs living it up afterwards.
& the Scotland vs Samoa game when Scotland squeeked through just and so, 36-33 in an absolutely enthralling & brutal game that could have gone either way. My Samoan shirt wearing son was disappointed that Samoa had lost, but loved the game for its quality.
I also enjoyed the first half of Scotland Vs USA, when it looked like the American underdogs were going to get a result, but the 2nd half was one way, & it killed the spectacle.

But of course this time round, Scotland are favourites and England are rebuliding ;).

It should be another cracking day -- regardless of who is playing, rugby days out are always enjoyable.

Just a pity the ticket prices are so extortionate now that families need a second mortgage to attend! It'll be the tv highlights as DD will want the Disney channel instead so stuck with repeats of Liv and Maddie..arghhhh

Oddly enough, I thought mine were well priced ;)

Once Autumn international tickets are released by SRU I'll be very surprised if their isn't an attractive promotion to encourage attendance and the game against Georgia will be very easy on the pocket.

Pro12 final tickets start at £10 for U18s and £20 for adults if you fancy a big day out.

We certainly did have a good day - a good result and a happy time with the "rugby family".

Murrayfield is always a very special place to go to. Made all the more special by the hosts desire to put one over on the "neighbours". Generous hosts, gracious (if disappointed) in defeat.
