Edinburgh on Wednesday

Off to Edinburgh for a few days on Wednesday and the weather report says they're on amber warning for gales. I didn't purchase travel insurance, should I get some now incase anything is cancelled?

given that Scotland is still part of the UK you need to post elsewhere - this is the overseas travel section!
The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....

You should always have travel insurance when you travel.

You might well be too late to get cover for what you want.
  • Hi,

how many thousand miles are you travelling and how many days to get there?

If you're only travelling form down south, then don't bother with insurance, live on the edge a bit.

You'll enjoy Edinburgh, plenty to do and see.

The gales should blow out today. Wednesday is fine.
  • Sorry travel police, if it's in the wrong section please do move it.

That's what I thought, thank you all I won't bother!

Depends how you read it (or what was intended): is it

    (Overseas Holidays) and (Travel Planning)
    or
    Overseas (Holidays and Travel Planning)?

I tend to lean to the latter given that there is already a board for UK holidays, but it's certainly open to interpretation.
