Well, I think there are different posters offering different advice, and that cannot be encapsulated by you as a 'We on this forum', which is what you are trying to claim.
'We' because hoohoo and I were giving you the same advice.
Because it does. You asked for advice and hoohoo was right and his advice was based on experience.why would it be seen as reasonable to make an offer
I don't deny it, I let out a big sigh when I read you actually thought we were saying offer a fiver, but then if they accept it don't pay it.And your tone is, let's say, a teensy bit patronising as well.
Nope.
Sorry for being a moo - I always expect people to 'get it' quickly but everything we said was fairly simple but being misconstrued more than once, which was frustrating.
Making an offer is very obviously a reasonable thing to do and you have no other options because there is no appeal worth trying. Equally, I thought it was blindingly obvious the PPC (a scam industry who exist purely to leach money from people, not for parking management) won't accept it so it amazed me that you made the leap to effectively assume we meant 'if they accept it, you are saying I then renege on that offer'! My jaw hit the floor...
Maybe this needs to be revisited afresh tomorrow.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
