Don't quote me on this dinoboo, but I think you're only covered if you use one of Paypal's recognised postage methods. If they pay with Paypal and you drop it off, the buyer could then say they didn't receive the item, you have no way of proving you sent it so you'd have to refund them. I think that's a badly worded way of saying don't do it...unless they pay cash.

    This

On a related note, if a buyer is collecting an item from you do NOT accept paypal. They can get home, file it as Item Not Received, and PayPal will refund them because there's no proof of posting.

Speaking of, £4.99 on fleabay this evening.

£5 ebay sale today brings total to £65 for the month. Slight dilemma(?) The person who bought the item is a student and lives about 2 miles from me. I could get off the bus on my way to town to drop the item off, but would I keep the £1.99 postage or not? or shall I just post it at the PO? I haven't mentioned any of this to the buyer... ta folks

I think I would do it.

100% correct I reckon Siouxie, but sometimes I think it's easier to say "What do I need protection for on a £5 item ? when by rejecting it I can make another £1.99 ? "
  • hope your all well :)
Nothing to add for me today, 15 hours overtime complete (and im shattered, I know better than to mix late shifts and night shifts in the same week).
Hopefully adding £8 tomorrow from a fb sale, fb sales are pretty slow at the moment, hopefully payday soon will speed it all up, added all my old cake decorating items yesterday though, hopefully a couple of hundred once the dribs and drabs have gone. off to do some surveys now as I over slept after my night shift

  • Any thoughts on the best place to sell dvds?

I was thinking maybe musicmagpie or ziffit...just wondering if there's something better out there.
There's about 200 to get rid of (hubby is a hoarder lol) So wanted something that takes them in bulk rather than fleabay or ama'con :D

Gone over the 1000 points mark on bounts so hopefully by the end of next week I should be able to redeem my first voucher.

Afternoon everyone :) Hope you're all having a nice weekend!

I just sold an item on ebay which adds another £15.25 to the pot. A few more items are ending tonight, but there's not a lot of interest...yet! Hopefully one or two will sell!
