What beans would you recommend Aesop? Just done a quick shop at lidl and picked up my usual heinz but can see there is lots to be saved with their own brand D

I usually buy sainsbobs own brand , I don't like asda own brand. Guess best to buy one can and try it, see what you think of taste.
  • Morning :)

I have managed to get myself an online interview today which will pay me $40 for 30 mins - a bit nervous as i haven't done that before but no doubt it will be fine!

A few more sales on fb happening for me too, and need to do some invoicing for those.

Have to take woofer to the vets tomorrow for an op :( Glad i have the money to pay for that straight away!

  • so annoyed with myself, so far this year I managed to save/make £500 to make a massive (to me) overpayment on my big bertha credit card at the end of this month.
well this last week has well and truly eaten it all up :(
no one to blame but myself though
first a £222 dentist bill on Saturday and today I receive court forms for a old debt I was ignoring (naughty I know) for £266, its 6 years are up end of next month so I was hoping to avoid it. i can not get a ccj as hoping to get a mortgage next year so i had to pay up. ive got another one due its 6 years in may. I just hope they don't push now :(
    Onwards and upwards though ay?

    £5 just claimed from swagbucks

    1p roadkill

don;t find much roadkill anymore because DS gets in a strop if he doesn't see it before me and grabs it. so now if I see any he usually jumps on it too.

also £2.50 spent from nectar points and claimed my £2.50 won the other day.
  • No money making to report from me today yet (kinda busy so don't know how many surveys I'll get to) BUT I just booked a super duper cheap holiday for me & S to Rome in July!

Got a groupon voucher for 2 nights in a 4* hotel + flights for £139 (each). During booking the flights were... not great as in the inbound flight would arrive at night and we'd lose a whole day so paid an extra £33 each for better inbound flights. The Operator added complementary breakfast for us because it's the first time I'd booked with them.

The hotel in question is normally £149 a night!

Worked out that including return coaches to London Victoria from Glasgow, return coaches from Victoria to Gatwick, return train from Rome airport to the city, and the city tax on the room, it'll cost us £220 all-in (max - I can probably get the London coaches cheaper than £20 return)

Pretty pleased with that. I've never been to Rome! Or stayed in a 4* hotel! I normally stay in cheap hostels in massive dorms to save money so... that's exciting.

Used my rallycross/travel fund for it so I'm -£278 on that (put the £66 surcharge on my credit card) but will beef it back up again when S pays me back for the booking, which will be before I need to book the trip to Kent.

I've just done two quick, local, non-purchase mystery visits for £16. These handy ones are few and far between so pleased with those. I'm also still slogging away on Textbroker. I did endless product descriptions last night and a couple more articles, making another £12.

Not much left now on TB but will keep looking this afternoon. It's half term next week, which might hamper my money making efforts but I'll try to fit a few mystery shops in and probably look at Textbroker when they're in bed. I can't concentrate on writing when the kids are endlessly asking me questions / wanting food / fighting!
