Not a lot to add from me today, but I found a 1p on the ground this morning on my way to work :rotfl: It all helps!!
Actually, it's the potential of the 1p
Most of us know that a pound paid off a mortgage saves on interest, and depending on when the overpayment is made, that pound can be quite valuable.
For me every dollar overpaid (I'm in the USA now) in the first couple of years was worth close to $3 when it came to reducing the total amount of our mortgage to be paid over its lifetime.
But wait. There's more.
Those three dollars can then be diverted to investments/pensions etc.
One person I was listening to (a financial channel on youtube) was explaining that he worked out that a $5 starbucks coffee was actually costing him $35.
OK he is young (late 20s) so has many decades of investment ahead of him, but the concept is spot on!
So our tenner a day might really be worth 50 a day in our pocket.
Every little helps even more than we imagine :jYour biggest asset is TIME! I'm focused on multi-generational financial freedom.0 -
Yup, loveliest thread ever!
I'm looking to build my portfolio of earners this weekend (did that make it sound classier than it is? :rotfl:) . Have gotten to reasonable grips with Clixsen$e now and cashing every couple of weeks (I only do the clix and 10min or less surveys due to limited time/attention), so looking for the next site to use for short bursts of daily tinkering.
Was thinking Neo or Vivatec. I know some of you seem to do really well with both. Just wondering which people would recommend giving a go next? I tend to spend a few weeks getting to know a site and becoming a bit slicker with it before taking on a new one. Less overwhelming that way, I find. Any user insights great appreciated!£10 a day 2017 - APR £60.12 / MAR £82.24 / FEB £142.82 / JAN £241.240 -
Had to process that refund for the broken flash gun (£10 + £5 p&p) buuuut made an extra £5 on a camera I sold because the guy insisted on click + collect which is so horrifically inconvenient for me since I have to go to uni to use the printer and then walk 2 miles to the nearest C+C drop off to post the damn thing but it was £5 cheaper and I'm not gonna refund the difference because it was so much extra work.
Also sold another £5.50 worth of stuff so I guess I'm only... -£4.50 now?

karma or fate - or just the universe looking after you :A
not cheeky to raise your goal at all. it is fab when people smash their goals and are able to try to achieve more. :T:beer::money:

£5 from My survey...slow but steady. Need to list on the bayJune 23.25/250 Monthly money making target0

Today's money making exploits: a mystery shop for £10, pub visit for £8 (plus free lunch for myself and son), £4.12 for selling a book on Amazon and £15 for work on Textbroker. Not a bad day's work, all in all.
I also visited a friend who kindly gave me some fabric and yarn that she wouldn't be using. Now I just need to find £100 to pay to have my sewing machine fixed, might add it to my aim for this month, so will increase target to £390.0 -

I can only comment on neo as don't do the other one.
Its a slow burner but has potential to make quite a bit more than some other sites if you are willing to persevere and be patient.
I am still persevering but enjoying the journey.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600
