I'm not sure what's happened to the thread but all the helpful links etc ( that are such a source of help for new joiners and even for us oldies too;)) that have always been on the first page of each monthly challenge have disappeared:eek:

I know we can click through to them from the first post but I for one preferred the format that we've always had before. Sorry
I preferred it as well and thought it was so encouraging, for new peoples to get some idea where to start and us oldies for things we don't use very often. All the info in one place is soo much easier eh ;)

Think it's because it wasn't put up by Aesop.

new total £132, it would have been £162, but I had relapse on the smoking, and my 2 year old sons feet grew 2 sizes over night, hes chosen some very shiny, very glittery 'girls' frozen trainers... his dads not too impressed ;)
Great result so far Kim :T

Stick with the no-smoking and it will get easier :D

If your two-year old is happy then I wouldn't get on the gender issue - he's not really old enough to worry about it.

..... I finally have my DD2s mattress along with a £10 gesture of goodwill voucher. I'll count this as I do need to get the girls some bits.

In other news, I had some hideous dealings with the child benefits office last month ..... only to hear from benefits office last week saying they DO HAVE the certificate and would backdate all the way as it was clearly received on time. Also, would I like my complaint re: the advisor escalated. I said yes, as I would now be seeking compensation for the duplicate birth certificate. Something you can't cancel once ordered. Anyway, I yesterday received an email from the unconnected certificate office, stating that they can find no record of the certificate I've requested and have refunded my money!?!?

I don't know whether to be grateful to the universe for cutting me some slack or paranoid that the certificate office can't find my daughters records?!
After all your troubles it's great to see the fantastic results. Well done for your perseverance :T

I agree. Kids like what they like. Mine used to wear my shoes and push his pushchair.

But he Is all boy. Smashes cars, wants trainsets etc.

Let hi enjoy his frozen shoes. They Are only little for a little while. X
