Anyone got any experience using the SHPOCK app? It appears to be a halfway house between Gumtree and fleabay, with no fees. I've been looking through it and there looks like a reasonable amount of users, quite straightforward etc.

As I don't use bookieface, I thought this might provide another easy selling avenue. Am always on the lookout for things with less fees!

It's handy, I didn't do well with sales. Please make sure you clearly put your location!!!! I had someone in the midlands, ask me to drop it round. I told her I lived in London. She said £2.80 for courier fees was too much. I said £50 for petrol then :-P :rotflmao:

Some people do well with it. I didn't but well worth a go.

I'm having an enforced admin day (waiting in for landlord to visit) and going through my pile of "to be filed" paperwork I noticed Sky were offering a £100 prepaid master card when I joined. I didn't receive it so I gave them a call...and they're going to send it in the next 14 days :j Going to use it for essential spends only as I'm having a Frugal February so it'll help out a lot!!
  • Hi everyone,

I'm brand new to MSE but this challenge looks great! Please put me down for £10 :)

Any good advice for a newbie on how to get started? Hoping to use my extra savings to help ease our wedding budget!
  • Just sat and caught up with the thread so far - everyone is doing really well!

Returned last night from our stay on the childrens ward following Little Man's foot reconstruction. He's very sore and we are both knackered!! He's not allowed to weight bare for 6 weeks - so glad I used some of my make £10 money on a second hand wii u, as that is gonna be a nightmare once he's feeling better!!

Going to spend the day ebay listing and seeing if any of the surveys in my inbox are still valid!! And napping on the sofa :rotfl:
