Tip from social networking

Sharing links is soooooooooooooooooooooo much easier with social media interfaces (Facebook Google Twitter yadda yadda)
- Click "Insert Link"
- Send

The current MSE forum tools insist you insert these separately e.g.

This took me about 10 minutes to share this news article [Edit: using a mobile phone browser app and MSE mobile web]
It would be real real easy for the MSE developers to implement all this automatically using the "Add Link" button
Which would increase traffic from people used to "sharing" to social networking mobile apps and it would save MSE creating a dedicated mobile app
I am all for using Mobile Web Interfaces as universal platform for all brands of mobile without need to create different mobile apps for each platform (Windows Android and Apple and now Amazon Kindle)
- Click "Insert Link"
- Automatically:
- Inserts the Title from the webpage (emboldened and centred)
- Seeks and inserts the photo from that same web page
[If there's more than one photo they let you choose by cycling through them]
- Inserts Link
- Add a comment- Inserts the Title from the webpage (emboldened and centred)
- Seeks and inserts the photo from that same web page
[If there's more than one photo they let you choose by cycling through them]
- Inserts Link
- Send

When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?

It took me 1 second to drag&drop the picture and another 3 seconds to add a link to it.
Your standalone link could have been dragged&dropped from http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/tennis/
Murray vs Djokovic live score and updates from Australian Open 2016 final
You can use copy&paste instead of drag&drop.
Mind you, drag&drop can produce awkward results in Chrome.0 -
Try it again with mobile phone browser app using MSE mobile web interface and let me know how you get onWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0

It's a pretty rudimentary piece of programming
Clicking 'Insert web link' (automatically adds Title and Photo and embeds link, Bold and Centred)
If this was included in MSE mobile web interface buttons it would make it real easy for mobile users to contribute without producing 5 mobile apps for the 5 main platforms
Most share links will copy the link to the clipboard so the same button could automatically use the link that's already in the clipboard without the user even having to use the paste button
