Good morning NSD gang! I have just had a day of 12 hour shift work followed by the bliss of a day off during which I had a lovely aromatherapy massage (and no rancid chip fat was used in the proceedings) followed by the mad spendathon that always comes on payday.

Today is another day off, where more food spending will occur. I am at work over the weekend so should be able to add another couple of NSDs to the Cauldron of Doom. Not a very good performance from me this month, must try harder!

Just realised - in three days time we will be at the month end! Where has time gone?

The Chicky Ferret cafe has been quiet lately so Chef and Igor are organising a curry night tonight to bring in more custom. Obviously sprout vindaloo is on the menu, but there are some rather strange combinations of spices going on there.....in fact, the Nargle Book of Home Chemistry I am sure advises against some of the combinations because of the risk of explosion......must check on that.....

Well, the customers seem to be enjoying their curry banquet, Igor, are you sure that food came out of that kitchen? Let me see what Chef is up to......

Chef, what are you doing? You have all these bowls full of different spices, how do you know which is which? And flinging bits of chicken all over the place is not how you make a chicken curry!

Oh, you are doing your old mum's recipe for chilli chicky bork?

That looks like chilli powder...that one turmeric....what about the black powder there, with the smoky smell? Gunpowder??? Where did that come from?

Hang on, let Fabio come past, he's on his way to light the clay oven for the naan breads....watch where you're waving that lighted taper, Fabio, with all these spices around....

I think I will head back to Ennessdee Towers for some peace and quiet, too much chaos going on here.....oops! Hubert! Look where you're going as you dash into the kitchen, you might....bump into someone and cause an accident.......
