Is a kiln a good valentines day gift?

I know the title sounds like what you would expect from me, but this is legit :D

I sold my car recently and the new car i bought was cheaper than what i sold my old car for so with the money left i was going to buy another personalised number plate  wifey is fine with me spending the money on a number plate as the car i sold was originally bought with money from my grandparents.

She's been saving up for this metal firing kiln thing for ages! She makes jewellery and having that would mean she could make better stuff. It costs £895 and i have enough to buy it, but its not really a romantic gift is it?

Nothing says i love you more than a kiln :rotfl:what do people think if you received a kiln on valentines day?

Spinkz I think it's very romantic.
Roses and stuff require no thought this does so romantic

If that's what she wants I'm sure she'll be happy that you've bought it for her! £895 is a lot for a Valentine's present!!

We dont usually have a lot of money to buy expensive stuff and i dont really need a personalised number plate anymore. That was a bit of a fad i went through thinking my number plate before looked cool

Of course it's romantic, and thoughtful, too.

Any fool can buy his wife a new iron or replace her cracked laundry basket and call it a gift but to get what you know her little heart hankers after is something extra special.

I don't know how big the kiln is, but maybe you could cover it and put some Valentines Roses on top of it so that she thinks she's just getting flowers. Then uncover the real gift..

That reminds me, we need a new laundry basket! I can use that as a little pre gift to throw her off the scent of the real gift :D
