Hillary, if elected, won't only be the first female President, so Bill becomes the first man, you also have the issue that you will have both a present and former president residing at the White House. So it may be the case that the naming is different to how it would be if a different woman were to be first female president. They could collectively be The Presidents Clinton, for example.
President, aiui, is an honorific title once retired. Could they also be Mr and Mrs President? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? They just had a US comedian on Sky News. He said that if Trump gets in the wall will be built. However it will be between the USA and Canada to stop the Americans escaping. surely Mrs and Mr Clinton?0 -
surely Mrs and Mr Clinton?
That would be logical, but won't happen. They don't currently call Obama "Mr Obama", they call him "Mr President". So she could be Mrs President, Ms President, etc. So could be Mrs and Mr President, who knows?
According to the Boston Globe, this is one of the most googled questions at the moment (though not many satisfactory answers). One has suggested that he will be called the First Gentleman. Clinton himself has joked that he should be called Adam. Jimmy Kimmel suggested First Dude. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Bernie isn't going to find them though. He's a 'socialist'. The American middle and working classes hate socialists and socialism. He might appeal to some effete HR middle-manager in Concord but his appeal is going to be limited at best among the farmers and miners of Colorado.
You might want to learn a bit more about US states before using them by name in examples. Colorado has the second highest level of degree attainment by residents of all US states; they have plenty of jobs in pharma, medicine, and a lot of jobs in education. Given that he beat Clinton by 20% in the state I'm not sure there's much evidence at this point to prove he'd do worse in the primaries than she would there.
All that said, he's not going to be the nominee and I think his views are too far left to win the presidency even if he did.Having a signature removed for mentioning the removal of a previous signature. Blackwhite bellyfeel double plus good...0 -
It's the same problem Mr Corbyn faces in the UK. A plasterer in Romford or a bar owner in Swindon just isn't going to vote for someone that spends their time banging on about Palestine and the IRA and las Malvinas.
But does he actually do that? Take a look at what's raised in PMQs and in his interviews:- Was his question about the 10,000 people originally promised free childcare who won't get it about Palestine, the IRA, or the Falklands?
- His question about teacher recruitment?
- His question about classroom overcrowding?
If a plasterer in Romford saw that and preferred Cameron's puerile jibes like "Acropolis Now" it isn't because he's talking about things that are relevant and important to them.
It does strike me that yourself and many others who criticise Corbyn seem to do so for spurious or imagined reasons; I'm sure I could come up with a dozen legitimate concerns about him, so I'm really not sure why people feel the need to make up ones.Having a signature removed for mentioning the removal of a previous signature. Really? I thought the most googled question on the Wednesday was 'How do I move to Canada?'
Which I thought was understandable in the circumstances.

But it's not to be because the Republicans will do something and go with Cruz. Then up until the election all people will know about Ted Cruz is a bunch of lawsuits wasting taxpayer money on what is a natural born citizen.0
