Contacted the Catherine Manuell Design place about the trollies and she is hoping to be exporting them to the UK sometime soon. Unsure of the price but I'd buy one to save my neck/shoulders etc when without a buggy soon. They are pretty cool though. Wouldn't it be great if we could get shopping trolleys trendy. They are the best ones I've seen to date so far, with regard to the print/design etc.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. We MUST make them socially acceptable and trendy!!!! I NEED one! I keep doing myself an injury, and my boyfriend says the mid-week shopping MUST stop, that he'll carry it with me at weekends. Bless!
I have toyed with getting an old one and covering it with some groovy fabric or something...0 -
They sold some shopping trolleys in Morrisons last winter. Not as funky as a Catherine Manuell one, but no tartan, only plain colours. They reminded me of suitcases on wheels, but they definitely were shopping trolleys.0

I've got my heart set on one of the Catherine Manuell ones, with a flower design, that would be nice. Unless, I see something snazzy when I go to France as someone mentioned earlier in this thread that they are all the rage over in Paris, very trendy indeed. I really, really want one now. :j I mean, it makes sense to have one, who wants orangutan arms, wrecked neck/back/shoulders etc for the sake of some bags of shopping.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. I had my La Redoute one delivered last week and it's quite snazzy - yellow and green stripes! Lightweight with quite big wheels too, and masses of room in the bag. All I need to do now is get up the courage to trail it down the road

I bet if some of these fancy designer people had shopping trolleys being trailed behind models on cat walks etc etc we'd see shopping trolleys being trailed by all and sundry. I think I'll phone up tomorrow, Melbourne is 9 hours ahead I think but I could give a quick call. She said that it is likely that she would have a stockist in Heredford, but I think she means Hereford. Anyone near Hereford????
I did see other shopping trolleys similar to BOGOF babes one above which were shocking pink with a bit to hold your brolly. They looked really cool too, but from Japan. They must be considered trendy out there too. As always, we are always the last to know about things “Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. I live in Hereford UK, but am not sure I understand your post, so can you explain a bit further how I can help?
I'm probably not reading it right- who is the manufacturer/stockist we are looking for?

BOGOF Babe,
Catherine Manuell Design in Australia make these super trendy shopping trollies with all different designs etc on them, really cool. Anyway I contacted her by email last night and she wrote back saying that she has just come back from a business trip to the UK and is hoping to get them supplied to a stockist in Heredford (think she means Hereford). Not quite there yet but she is pretty sure that they will be stocked in a Hereford store sometime soon.

Oh I say! Well Hereford is something of a shopping outback usually, so I am really surprised at that.
If and when it materialises, you could pop over for a visit and we'll do lunch! Not sure where you are, but any chance? xxx

I'm sure the kids will fit in the shopping trolley and we can all take a cheap flight down the road...:rotfl:“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0
