Go with a list but preferably to a supermarket that doesn't stay open 24 hours. Bread and fruit is dramatically reduced about 30 minutes before closing time. Just before closing on Christmas Eve is even better.0

Unfortunately none of the above applies to me as i can't go out, thus i don't get tempted in shops/supermarkets like I used to
My downfall now though is shopping online, and it's so easy to click that button and go through checkout without even feeling the loss from your pocket as it's all figures on a screen these days, and not hard cash you're parting with.
What I've started to do by way of remedying that is to wait 24 hours before finalising a purchase which gives me time to think "Do i actually need this" ... "is it such a good bargain" ... "have i got something already I could use instead" etc etc
It's made a huge difference as most of my purchases have been impluse buys and unless they turn up within 24 hours I often lose interest and wish I'd never ordered them, so this has been a great way of cutting spending for me"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

hmm advice... Only buy what you actually went in for rather than ooh i'll have this...and that looks nice (i am the queen of doing this) and if you know u will be tempted by the supermarket, go to the local shop it may be more expensive for the 1 item but u tend to just buy what u need.Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts0
