Hello everyone,
That's me just subscribing to this thread half way through the month...
Use Ups:
5 x hotel shower gels
Batiste dry shampoo
No7 pressed powder
Benefit - They're real mascara
All 3 full size items are from my PP list so only got the following for Spring:
Lacura hand cream
Boots Extracts exfoliating wash
Bobbi Brown - gel eyeliner
IN: Mascara - can't remember the make as I bought it from my beautician so don't think it's a brand I can get in regular shops
I'm enjoying trying to get through my tester size/travel size toiletries. I'm away for an overnight tomorrow night and will be using the spa so I'll try to get through another few toiletries.
I do need a new night cream and a few other bits and bobs and I'm keen to try this misceller water so I may well buy stuff from Boots soon. I feel guilty but there are a few things I actually need as they are about to run out and I have none in my stash.
I was cleaning my make up brushes at the weekend and I realised that I've had some for TEN years...is this normal? How often should you replace them and how often do all of you clean your brushes? I definitely don't clean mine enough but just wondered if brushes should be replaced every so often?#27 £2016 in 2016 = £763.61
#42 £2 Savers Club = £160
*Savers Club not included in overall 2016 savings until the tin is opened and my estimates have been confirmed later in the year.0 -
Thanks for the suggestions for my old perfume :money:0

Back from shopping trip. Was very good. Bought Laura Geller from Debenhams. Was going to try buying on fb or e**y but decided it's not worth it in case I get bad coloured pan. Did try looking for alternative but all other powders looked wrong colour or too heavy. NYX had a fabulous display in Boots in Manchester and I liked the look of the contour/highlight palette but that would have meant mixing colours together which seems like hard work.
Also bought som Defluff and King of Skin from LUSH. Traded in 5 pots and got a free Cosmetic Warrior face mask.
Went to Starbucks and picked up the Benefit offer. Went along to the Benefit counter and had my brows filled. Picked up the Starbucks offer.
Another UU : Bath and body works pocketbac called Winter Wonderland. Didn't like the smell very much as it smell of cherry cola. Have more in stash and must remember to use more when traveling on the bus.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

2 more UUs:-
Conditioner from Casting Creme hair colour. Tried repurposing in the washing machine - didn't work. Chucked the remainder into my bath today. Can't stand this on my hair.
L'Occitane verbena soap - GWP size that's leaf shaped and has exfoliator bits. V nice. Not sure how long I've had it as it disintegrated quite quickly (I took it away with me at the weekend). Have another in stash that I'll use next.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. UU
15. La Roche Posay effaclar duo samples x 2. Felt like it left a strange layer on my face. Didnt enjoy it.0 -
Welcome misfire
Belated birthday wishes VALM
Dolly84 thank you, my face has mostly recovered, I will be much more careful next time.
I think I have done very well on the INs this month, I am very tempted to order from lush tomorrow as they have a shower gel I want but we will see as I don't really need anymore shower gels.
INs
2 x Bastiste dry shampoo
Neutrogena concentrated hand cream HG
Aldi face cream, I read an article about it so bought one to try.
UU's
33) bath melt by bomb cosmetics WBA like them, melt well don't leave oil over the top of the water and smell lovely.
34) butter bear bath ballistic WBA make the water soft, a little more delicate in scent than other bath bombs and bought at half price. I have several more that I will enjoy using.
36) golden wonder bath bomb WBA another favourite for the scent and the colour. Quite uplifting and fizzes quicker than others.
37) Tigi catwalk headshot reconstructive intense conditioner 750 ml WBA I hated the scent of this ( mint) but found it a very good conditioner and since I don't condition my roots I found that once I had applied it I did not smell it again. It cost me £2 and I have another in cupboard, wish I had bought more.
38) Big Bang bubble bar WNBA nice enough but not the greatest fat of the scent
39) the enchanter baht bomb WBA love the scent and beauty of this in the tub. A sweet orange scent which looks like a sunset in the bath. Have more left as I hoard things I like and these only appear in the lush kitchen occasionally.
40) bath and body works pocket bac in cozy vanilla cream WBA I like these hand sanitisers and the scent last well
41) leaders sheet mask in moisturising WBA love these, I can keep them on an hour and they still are soaked in essence. Good fit and not scented but moisturises my skin well.0 -
Sam the Tigi conditioner is fab I agree, it's a fave of mine for swimming as it does such a good job.
2 UU:
Boots extracts cocoa butter body butter 200ml- WBA HG product. Love everything about this. The scent, the way it sinks in so well, the consistency (nice + thick), the fact it's very moisturising. Love it. Got loads in stash in various sizes pots so don't need anymore. Replacing with tbs honeymania 200ml from stash.
Yardley lavender soap- Wnba not keen on the scent, it was originally a gift. Lathered up ok though. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

Fixx, that made me laugh so much!
2 more use ups to report:
4. German bath salts sachet for when you have a cold. These were lovely, they contained eucalyptus, rosemary and camphor. They left me feeling refreshed. WBA if I was in Germany! I have a couple more sachets of different scents to try out too.
5. TBA mini chocomania body scrub. This was nice and scrubby. I don't think they make this scent anymore and I do find the full sized ones expensive for what they are.
1 IN: Avon hot oil hair treatment. I always used to like this when I was in my teens so I hope it lives up to my memories!0 -
I cba to go back through the thread and check if I have posted any of my UU's for this month, so here is everything I have UU so far...
Lancome Bi-Facil 30ml- OK WMBA, nothing special
EL Advanced Time Zone eye cream 5ml- LHJ despite the size WMBA
S&G The Scrub of Your Life 200ml- WBA-love the S&G scrubs
S&G The Righteous Butter 50ml - WNBA, good butter but not my fave scent
Molton Brown Templetree 100ml- WMBA, love the scent
Cinders Bath Bomb- WBA, love this bath bomb
L'Oreal Micellar Water 150ml- HG product
Plush Therapy Mild Dermabrasion Face/Body Scrub 20ml- Used as a body scrub, as I've stopped using scrub on my face. Too mild and not scrubby enough for me, WNBA
Green People Age Defy 24 hr brightening cream 10ml- WNBA, disliked the scent so UU this on my neck area
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate 2ml- WMBA, not sure the sample size was enough to tell if this did anything for me
NSPA raspberry Body Spray 250ml- WBA, lovely scent for refreshing at work0
