Maybe not the suggestion you're looking for but I once knew a lady who would add unwanted old perfume to melted wax and turn it into a scented candle. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2019 Total UU since 2016 - 396 | Total February UU - 10 -
Well, my toiletries are sorted but the 7 hours work yesterday doing it has messed my back up! I appear to have pulled a muscle on one side I imagine from bending and picking stuff up and sorting the boxes. I had a 10 hour shift at work today and I am really wishing now I'd had an easy Sunday. So much pain
Anyway, a UU to report:
Avon femme shower gel 150ml- Wnba but would use if I bought the perfume set again. I like the smell of the perfume but wouldn't buy this pm its own (if you even can) as I wasnt keen on it. Did the job ok and probably nice enough if you like the smell of it. I like strong scented stuff for the shower.
2 IN too, I ordered last week 2x face scrubs (cheaper as a twin pack) as I thought I had run out. I'm kicking myself because I found several yesterday I'd forgotten I had. :rotfl: it's not the end of the world though as these are a good price, I like this brand and they will be used.
So 2 x beauty formulas coconut milk facial scrubs INNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

Used up- lancome genefique serum- nothing left, the last pipette of it totally emptied it. However, that was the sample size, I have a full size product to use up.
Finished up almond oil. 2 more to use up.
In caudalie spray, serum, oil and moisturizer. I used this range years ago and it was impossible to source so very happy. I try to rationalize that I have gotten the shoe and clothes binges under control- this is my only vice.
Sundaygirl- powders take so long to use up. It's a real victory.
ch1979- I would give twice the amount that i take. Look for something you could finish fast like a face mask or treasure like a make-up brush. Avoid long haul items.
Valm- sounds like you had a great weekend. The urban decay is lovely- I know you will enjoy it. If you tend to drive to lush, put the bottles in the boot of your car and you will get to it eventually.
weareghosts- have you tried spraying it as a room scent- posh airfreshener, it can work really well if its floral. I have reused scents on hair or clothes.0 -
WeAreGhosts - I would use it as a pillow mist or room freshener.
Yesterday DD had her waist length hair cut into a pixie cut, it was a very scary day for me but not for her it would seem, I still feel a bit sick but she is getting older (12), can make her own decisions and wanted to be different to every other girl. Anyway later in the afternoon we decided to make room on her dressing table for her new hair products (donated by me) so we sorted out all her makeup and threw an absolute ton of it away - all the bright blue eyeshadows and brown lipsticks she had bought plus loads of other really cheap brands. There wasn't anything else we could do with it, most of it was in a real gloopy mess.
I gave her the following hair products:
Got2Be Sea Salt Spray
Charles Worthington straightening balm
Richard Ward Root Booster
Tigi Mousse
She gave me a brand new Clinique eyeshadow quad that I gave her (couldn't get rid of this) and a mini Clinique lipgloss which I also gave her.
I also have ins from my Avon order
Cherish EDP 30ml
Lip Crayon in Raspberry Rush - this is gorgeous
Planet Spa Herbal Steam Bath Moisturising Cream 200ml - this is Cedar and Eucalyptus and smells really good and rubbed in really nicely when I tried a bit last night.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Dolly dd2 did exactly the same but was about 14 she went from waist length to short spiky, now mid 20s it is really long again. If she hates it it will grow back. And it's one of the things we can experiment with and try new cuts and styles without permanence. If that is a word or makes sense.
Hope all are well.SPC~12 ot 124

Good morning ladies,
It had been a slow month for UU, but on the bright side no unnecessary INs! (I have only purchased essentials like face scrub and conditioner, either of which are stashed)
UU from PP list:
TBS chocomania shower creanm 250ml WBA
Sanctuary Spa hand cream 30ml. This is lovely, so nice it rivals my favourite L'occtaine almond one. I bought the set of minis in the MrB sale solely for another of these creams. WDBA.
And an odd one:
Superdrug morello cherry dry shampoo 200ml (i think). I went to use this, and despite it being used very lightly since i bought it, the can was empty. Theres maybe just not a lot in the cans. I have another of the same to use.
Have a great day all!0 -
Oh dear, had to share this here :rotfl:
"A WOMAN’S bathroom cabinet is brimful of distilled, cleansing, pointless lotions.
Emma Bradford, a paralegal from Durham, has accumulated a vast range of tiny scented liquids, which she regularly uses in undetectable quantities."...

UU
Nivea eye make up remover - wba - very gentle.
Tesco baby wipes - everyday essential
Lush so white - I like lush products, this one was ok, didn't really smell wintery but was nice enough.
Skin wisdom youth protect eye treatment - wba - felt like it actually tightened a bit
Avon Bella perfume - Wdnba - I found this to be a very light perfume, I could barely smell it myself, felt like it was bland, nothing special.
TA
Boots hairspray- WBA - does what it says on the tin. Had to throw this away because I knocked it into the toilet - joys of being clumsy.
In
Johnsons Baby wipes. - everyday essential.
Soft & Gentle deodorant - the pink one- jasmine & coco milk - this is a lost & founder, not much left in it so shouldn't take long before its uu.
Proberly more to come, I expect I've got "lost" stuff stashed away which I will come across, I think it's quite a collection for someone who never wore make up which explains why there's so much of it I suppose. I haven't included hair removal in the list such as razors, shaving gel, cream.0 -
Another UU 50ml Avon Planet Spa body scrub. Again this product came in a tube that it was too thick to squeeze from. I bought this and the other hand cream I mentioned yesterday in a set of three thinking they were hand creams. WDNBA. Much prefer Lush Pirridge. Soap,Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Two UU's
13. Adidas Body Wash- Uses this up as I bought it for my father who didnt use it as it irritated his skin. It's nothing special.
14. Johnsons Baby first touch oil. Like this better than the pink one as it feels much lighter, removes my makeup, moisturises my skin, cleans my brushes and I even used some of it for my hair!0
