HSBC Having On-line Banking Problems Again?

Do you regularly have issues with HSBC on line banking?
My partner uses HSBC and today was the first time I have heard her complain about any problems?
I left HSBC about three years ago and went to Barclays and have never looked back.
Barclays is just as likely to come attack as anyone else. A couple of weeks ago the academic network was targeted. Matter wasn't helped by people relaying twitter messages. Which resulted in more users trying to access the system. Common sense not to you would have thought. People are simply too impatient these days.0 -

There were another 1 or 2 days of outages this month, so I understand people being frustrated.
Yes it can happen to any bank, and other banks have had just as frequent problems, but again I understand the frustration. Wouldn't make me change banks, but each to their own.0 -
Hi guys
I am not the best at IT, still having problems on my I Pad every time I try and log on it says connection lost.
I called HSBC yesterday and they advised me to delete all cookies etc and it then worked but today we have issues again, surely I don't have to clear all cookies every time I want to log on because when I delete cookies it means I have to log into all of my other regular web sites and it's a pain.
Any ideas guys0 -

Open the HSBC site in a private tab. When the tab is closed cookies will be deleted for just the sites that were opened in a private tab.
I don't use or own an ipad / iphone but I believe this should be a feature in Safari?0 -
iPad app not working for me this morning; is anyone else having issues please?0

I've not been able to use the (Android) app for two days. It tells me it needs to update and then seemingly gets to 31% downloaded before hanging.
Thankfully I can log in to the website without this as long as I don't need it to generate a secure key for setting up new payees etc.0
