HSBC Having On-line Banking Problems Again?

I can't get logged in to HSBC this morning. Looks like the their problems have returned.

Interesting. I've tried two different 'is it down' sites and both report the HSBC security server as being down.
I can get the greetings page and login page but as soon as I try to log in it hangs for a while and then reports an error.

Same for me, too Oblivion. Have been trying to log on for an hour. Their Ask A Question is useless!

Same here. Looks like online banking is down again.

The site won't work for me, but the app is just about working but keeps getting 'system error' messages at random.

HSBC have now put a notice on their front page apologising for the inconvenience. About time too!! Should have been put there at the first sign of trouble, not three hours afterwards.

The Register is saying that HSBC are suffering a denial of service attack so its not a technical fault

Crikey, the login screen is now showing the web page HTML coding!!!!! They've really screwed this up big time.


BBC are now reporting it as a Denial of Service attack.

Time to switch accounts I think. I've been with HSBC all my adult life but am fed up with this.
