Had a lovely morning out with 2 of my friends and their little ones - a walk by the beach and then a coffee in a cafe. Kids are exhausting though - not actually sure if I want any!

This lymph node thing hasn't cleared up at all despite antibiotics so going back to docs at 245. Thankfully seeing my own doctor (had to see a different one the other day) so fingers crossed it's nothing serious.

Other than that, got to do our big shop tonight. Parcel has been delivered but missed it as was out so got to go to post office tonight to collect. Am hoping it's the 4 books I ordered as I'd love to get stuck into those this weekend!

Think shop will be another expensive one as next week making a lasagne, chicken and mushrooms in white wine sauce, slow cooker lemon chicken and a chicken and walnut stew!!!!!

So, doc doesn't know what it is. Have had blood tests and expecting results monday. Slightly concerned but whatever it is, I suppose I've caught it early.

Parcel was books so at least they will be a distraction this weekend.

Went up to see the boy's mum and his sisters and their kids this pm which was nice and needed it after the docs.

Still got to do big shop though

weekend wasn't bad. Fri night we did a big shop £113 so not as bad as normal but still bad. Stayed in and the boy made one of his amazing omelettes - lots of prison break watched!

Sat we were up vaguely early and went to the local farmers market. only managed to purchase spinach and a carrot as they didn't have much there! then we went and had lunch at a local pub and came home and not quite sure what we did all afternoon! I did a lasagne sat night which was actually amazing then more prison break!

Sun we both ran early. Boy ran with his mates so did 9 miles and I ran alone and did 8.16. Was actually fairly pleasant! Then we went out for sunday roast with friends which was nice. Came home and I read a book and the boy tidied up then beans, waffles and eggs for tea from stores before prison break and an early night!

Spendy weekend but not too bad. This week however is going to be more spendy. I've just ordered some running sunglasses and a flip belt for marathon day so the two were £52! have a manicure today which is £40
(but I have to have these as otherwise I pick all the skin round my fingers!) and out for coffee with a friend tomorrow (my turn to pay), lunch with another friend weds, out with boys mum thurs night but hopefully won't cost me anything as I am driving so not drinking, then we have friends over sat night so will obv be a cost involved in feeding them (though thankfully none of us are drinking so there will be no booze involved!!!

So, there was also £4.44 in b**ts yesterday spent on women's things!

Have cancelled coffee today as saw the friend I was meeting on sunday in the group and seeing her and her husband sat night here so seemed a bit silly to meet as won't really have a lot to talk about (plus bumped into her in street yesterday also).

Am supposed to run today - just 30 mins but there has been a niggle in my knee so thinking may go tomorrow morning instead to just give me knee the extra day after lsr to recover. Plus I really need to work on my book today!!

So today is likely to be a housebound day though may go for a walk if weather is nice.

Also have to speak to neighbours re drains issue either tonight or tomorrow as they haven't bothered to respond to my letters and it needs sorting.

Hopefully a NSD but if I go out for a walk you never know....might come across someone selling ice cream!

not spent anything yet today! but am SO hungry I am tempted. Though have no cash so would mean raiding our coppers and re-paying later or nicking the quid of the boy's by the side of the bed and making a bank transfer as shop down road only takes cards if over a tenner!

Have had: a cereal bar for breakfast, a coronation chicken ciabatta (only a small round one) and 1 chocolate biscuit. But not run today so don't feel like I should eat more even though am hungry!!!!

Worked a bit on my book today - think it is going to be a long slog

Didn't crack on the spending front yesterday so it was a NSD!

Today, gotta run 30 mins so will go shortly. Hardly seems worth getting ready for but it must be in the plan for a reason so I'll do it!

Then lunch with friend - hoping not more than £15 or £20.

    Need milk on way back.

Will work a bit more on my book this afternoon then steak this evening from stores.

In some ways feel I could have made more of my time off but it took me about 2 months to actually start relaxing I was so stressed

Ran my 30 mins - did 2.8 miles.

Lunch with friend was only £12 thankfully - was nice though she didn't have an awful lot to say which, given I barely see anyone at present, was disappointing!

The boy wants to go out for tea as it's such a nice evening, so probably just chips outside. Cheap as ha ha.

New passport came today so no longer feel like a fugitive!

And new job have approved my hols for Dec - the boy and I are off to NYC (7th time for me, 1st for him) - already cannot wait - I LOVE that city!!!!

Thankfully my dad has won plenty on the horses (whatever he wins jan - june he gives me a quarter of then same for july - dec when he's paid for xmas) so with what he sent today and what I saved from what he gave me at xmas that will more than cover NYC.

So, been MIA a bit, not quite sure why!

Boy and I went for chips on Weds night as it was nice - he paid too so bonus!!!

Weekend was nice. Did big shop Fri night - £113!!!!!! I really do not know how it got to that. Stayed in fri night however so saved there. Sat we were up early and prepping food as had people round for dinner sat night. Then we went out to lunch and for a coffee together which was nice. People round sat night which was a laugh. Was surprised how silly it got as none of us were drinking! Day 23 of no booze for me now!

Sunday we did our last long run - 6 miles - then went to boy's mums for lunch. Sat in garden reading in afternoon.

This morning I booked NYC!!!!!! Managed to get £150 off flights with the boy's avois points. And booked hotel. Not until December but super excited!!!!!

Today have done that, organised cattery for whilst away in sept and dec, booked taxi for weekend and started to put together all the stuff we need for the marathon. Really need to work on book this week!

Hoping for NSD's until thurs when meeting a friend for lunch.
