Neighbours called police on me for parking on curb then do it themselves

Hi all,
in a bit of an odd situation.
The other day I had a knock at my door which turned out to be two police officers, long story short they asked me to move my car because my neighbour kept asking and I was refusing.
my car is not in the way of her drive and does not affect her at all, there is just somewhat of a "family feud" between the two households.
anyway, out of spite she has started to park on the curb and even lets guests that come to her house do so to.
Now, I don't want this to turn into a "he said she said" type of thing and waste the police's time however this is taking the P**S, is there anything that I can do legally?
I have some pictures of them parking on the curb after calling the police if that's any use.

Why not just email them to your local neighbourhood team. Even then it's a case of tit for tat he said she said.0

Why did the police ask you to move it if it was properly parked?0 -

If theres a feud between you and your neighbour, and you've been - in their opinion - a !!!! by not moving your car, are you entirely surprised they have retaliated?
Out of curiosity, where was your car parked and what was their reasoning behind asking you to move it? Presumably they gave your a reason - and presumably the police had reason to get you to move it if it was properly parked?0 -
The only solution is "The Chicago way"
They park a car on your curb, you park a lorry full of scrap on theirs (I'm sure there is a friendly "metal recycler" who will park overnight in a nice safe location for a drink, and they won't mess with that)
You do have to be prepared to escalate all the way thoughI want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

Did you have two wheels on the pavement is that what you mean? I think other than blocking a drive that is the only time they will intervene. Overall I would say rise above it all tit for tat can consume your life if you aren't careful...leave it to consume theirs rather than yours0

Do you own your house? As with things escalating like this you would have to declare it when you come to sell which might put people off if they think they are bad neighbours.
Unless you have allocated parking that is clear in a lease or something I think you just need to learn how to live with each other. Do you have any room in your front garden to create a parking space and get the kerb dropped to it? Parking on the kerb like that could also mean you risk parking tickets if a bored traffic warden decides to wander down your street one day. It also can cause a lot of problems for people with guide dogs, wheel chairs, buggies etc trying to walk down the road.MFW OP's 2017 #101 £829.32/£5000

Do you think it acceptable to park with two wheels on the kerb?
If the answer is "yes", then there's no problem if you do it, your neighbour does it, their friends do it, or I come along and do it. Right?
If the answer is "no", then she shouldn't be doing it, and you shouldn't be doing it either.
I suspect what happened is that she phoned the police, they said "Look, don't be melodramatic dear, it's perfectly OK, but we'll go and have a quiet word and ask him not to, if it'll shut you up." They've done that, you've refused, there's nothing more can be done - so she's decided to start doing it too.
As for "letting visitors", please! These visitors have driving licences, I take it? Then they're perfectly capable of parking however and wherever they want. She has no more right to "let" people park in the road - or to not let them - than you do or I do.

I refuse to worry about where I park. I park legally on my road, no yellow lines, no dropped kerbs.
I refuse to let neighbours bully me into where to park. A public road is just that, not their personal parking spot.0 -
It must have been a very slow day at the nick for two coppers to turn up to a parked car; are you sure it wan't just ha'pennies( PCSOs).
Outside of London, and some other places with local bye-laws, it's not illegal to park with 2 wheels on pavement and on many narrow housing-estate roads it's probably more courteous than blocking the road.0
