Thoughts on Bounts (Get paid for walking)

Went out early this morning, walked in the Lakes again, and had done my 7000 steps before 11am!
Still missing 20 points from the 22nd though. Points from the 23rd have gone on, but not them?0 -
I'm also missing 60pts from the 22nd. So glad I upgraded to Premium+ now as the points are building up very quickly now. Since I upgraded on the 22nd I've gained 620pts (not including the missing ones) and I've another 20 to add later as I'm currently on just over 20,000 steps so will hit the 21,000 before bed. I'm well on target to achieving my weekly £5 garden voucher :dance:0

Well, I've had my account for 7 weeks now and just sent off for my third £5 voucher so my subscription is now fully paid up and anything I earn from now on is pure profit.
I also didn't have the advantage of gaining the 700pts from MSE referral and neither am I a member of any gym, so every point has been fully earned simply by putting one foot in front of the other and walking!
Still having issues with Fitbit updating immediately and the Health app only updates sporadically so I'm probably missing loads of points too, which is extremely frustrating.
How is everyone else getting on?0 -
Well yesterday I earned 100 points, 2 20+ activities and 21,000+ steps. Someone decided it would be a good idea to walk all the way round a lake in the Lake District! One side the path is very good, but the other side is very touch terrain for most of the way and involved abit of rock climbing and quite abit of ghyll walking!
We set off at about 2 and got back in just before 7pm, and to say I'm knackered is an understatement....well, it's my legs more than anything!
This app is really giving me an incentive to get up off my backside and get out though. I just kept on thinking that I'd probably do 21,000 steps, and that pushed me on. Because day to day, I don't get the chance to usually do more than 7000 (if that)
40 points have gone on so far from yesterday, but still waiting on my health app ones. I'm still missing 20 from the 22nd, so these better go on or I'll be well p*ssed off! Have emailed them about the ones from the 22nd, but they're not very good at responding.0 -
Well, the 60 points from my Health app have gone on, so I'm only just under 200 points now until I get to my £10 voucher!
The reward wheel is getting very stingy lately though I think. Yesterday I won 10 points out of 6 spins (1 win) and today I had 2 wins of 5 points each and that was with 12 spins.0 -
Bounts is very slow to update today. It took my MMF activity from this morning, but I had to disconnect my Moves app again to get it to sync - I think I have to do this about 70% of the time lately - and my latest MMF exercise hasn't synced yet either. I really think they have to improve this because it is a bit demotivating really. Also discovered the pin for the tennis courts nearby is in completely the wrong place so only a tiny corner near the entrance counts for check-in. Are you still meant to have a blue tracker for check-ins because I don't have one anymore?
Having said all that, I am racking up points towards the next voucher despite having a lazy couple of days. I only got 5 points from the reward wheel yesterday and 10 today, although I generally only get 5 - the highest I've ever had was 25Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Only 1 win of 10 points from 15 spins yesterday.
Only 1 win of 5 points from 12 spins as of yet today.
You may have a point about the rewards wheel Georgie.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
That's not very good odds code.
Seems like they started off high when they got new people joining but soon reduced the odds and the points.
Apart from my total fluke of a thousand points, the highest I've got is 50 points, and that was weeks ago.0 -
Yup. Nothing from my last 6 spins either, so 1 win in 18. That's pretty poor.
In happy news, because the pin for the tennis courts near work is in the wrong place, if I sit on a specific bench in the park for 30 minutes, I get a check in. So guess where I'm having my lunch on dry days? :rotfl: It would be better if it was in the right place because at least I could walk around, but the pin is in someone's garden so only a tiny bit of the geofence is accessible.
Is anyone doing their latest challenge? You have to do 5000 steps on a specific day and pay 5 points to enter a draw to win 5000 points. Don't think the odds are good enough for me to sacrifice the hard-earned points.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
I hadn't realised there was a new challenge. I don't mind a bit of a gamble, so decided to have a flutter! :rotfl: At least it'll spur me on to do abit more walking, as I wasn't planning on going far tomorrow.
The nearest check in we have is a small gym down the road. I'm not a member and don't want to join either, but wondered if it might work if I walked past it?As I've read about people doing that. Do you have to be in the vicinity for at least 30 mins for it to register then?
