think she was referring to this site: http://www.rubbersole.co.uk/sizing.aspx
I have emailed her again with the following:
Was this the site you were referring to? : http://www.rubbersole.co.uk/sizing.aspx , if you look at the size of the shoes in the 2nd chart down it does say that a size 7 UK is a size EU 40. Unfortunately this refers only to Espandrille shoe sizes (which crocs are not), but if you go down further on the page (right to the bottom) then you will see the international sizing chart which will show that a 41 is a size 7.5 (and as I explained earlier crocs are never sold in half sizes so this would be equivalent to a size 7 as a size 8 person would find these a tight fit). I also realised that perhaps you had never worn crocs before & found this information for you - the very first time I bought crocs I thought they weren't fitting properly as they werre large on my feet, however as the crocs site explains they are supposed to be big for you to feel the benefits:

Hope this helps

She has now said:
if you go to www. crocs sandals (uk) you will find the size guide at the top of the page.
I have tried to find this website but obviously cannot. I've had to ask her to send it to me in a normal cut & paste format. Thing is that the shoes said size 41 on them & when I ordered them from Ravel I went for a size 7. They did not fit and I actually ordered a size 8 from another site which did fit me. To be honest I do think that she is just trying it on. These are definitely a size 7. Perhaps I should ask her if she has ever had a pair of crocs - the fit is supposed to be big!
I think she might mean this page
if you put crocs sandals (uk) into Google that's what it brings up
Hope it helps
Edit: Lol looks like you beat me to it0 -
Thanks searcher - I think it is the one - if it is then hopefully my email will make sense to her. zulubabe I was just about to post a link to rubbersole but you beat me to it

I can't find the site your buyer referred to either
Just found this from HERE (it might help your buyer [strike]shut up[/strike] understand lol) -
The clog-type models generally run large and are designed to fit loosely and comfortably. The Cayman shoes are individually sized and run a half-size large. For example, a 7 is actually a 7½ and accommodates both foot sizes. The Beach comes in six sizes and also run large. Please see the sizing chart at the bottom of each model's page.
To make sure that the strap is not pulling your foot into the front of the shoe, rotate the strap forward and determine if your foot rests comfortably in the foot bed and there is room all around your foot. If so, you have the proper size but the strap is too short. To alleviate this issue, work your fingers around the strap and stretch it as you go around being careful not to put excessive pressure on the rivet hole. Stretch the strap until it is just short of the back edge of the shoe. The resin material has memory and will stay at the proper length after one or two of these types of adjustments.Bulletproof0 -
Hi Zulu
I'm not sure you are being entirely fair, I buy shoes in UK sizes 5, 6, 7 etc If I bought a pair that said size 5/39 or size 5/38 I would be expecting a size 5.
I also googled Croc shoes (I had not heard of them until just now) and found this site http://www.crocshoes.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=ALLTCK
When clicking on the info for the ALL TERRAIN CHOCOLATE/KHAKI shoes there is a size drop down and it says 07 (40).
I think your buyer may have a valid point - if you had listed them as size 41 only then I would think otherwise.

41 is DEFINITELY not an 8. Take it from someone with big feet!

It would also seem that a 41 is also DEFINITELY not a 7 - bear in mind that the buyer was expecting the sizing in 'old money'.

I think the posts above indicate a 7.5.
So we're both right

Which by implication/extrapolation/not-sure-what-word-I-need-here would make the buyer right.
