Evening all
Just a quick one from me this evening as I'm feeling quite dodgy. Physically speaking. I feel like I've been run over by a truck so I'm updating then heading off for an early night.

Hi all
Bob I cant believe your little girl is 16 weeks! Well done Ally and good luck with the next role. Lots of poorlies around, hugs to those suffering.
Lots going on here. DS1 has been to see a careers adviser and she has strongly recommended that he learns to drive. DH was chatting to our elderly neighbour and she says that she is thinking about giving up her licence and DS can have her car free of charge!! The car is old but has been fully serviced and well looked after and its a very generous offer. Now we just need to find about £2000 for lessons and insurance. We will do it somehow.
So, smaller things. I have stuck to the mealplan this week, managed to get some washing nearly dry outside today. Did some washing up by hand to save using the dishwasher and resisted going to the shops.
Not going to be late to bed, didnt sleep well last night and have been to my gym class so I am tired.0 -
Evening all
Late check in today - I woke up feeling rotten, sick and a headache, and it was my day to look after baby GDNormally OH would help but he was scheduled to leave at lunch time, as he is going away for a couple of days to do an activity with a friend. Luckily though, GD was pretty good, so we didn't have too bad a day. I actually feel a bit better now, but will head off to bed shortly.
Not much done today:
Dog walk, hens fed etc - 1 egg today
HM meals from stores
Not a NSD as we had to do an emergency dash to Sainsburys as we had run out of bubbles (GD's latest enthusiasm). Washing up liquid and bubble bath just did not do the job, so 50p had to be spent :rotfl: Actually, more than that as I bought the bumper pack to avoid running out again next week. Also bought the kitchen foil that I needed - but nothing else :T
Had the heating on to avoid it being cold for GD (nasty windy day again), but it is off now and I have lit the wood burner, much to the dog's delight as he is currently upside down in front of it
Received some stamps and shopping vouchers from the postal survey
Managed a few onepoll surveys, coming up to £30 on there again nowAlso checked FPL, (and didn't win :rotfl:)
Made a list of what I need to do/ pack in preparation for the coming weekend. It is DD1's birthday (one of the 'big' ones) and we are going to stay for the weekend, mainly to babysit, but there will be a family evening on Friday before babysitting for the rest of the weekend. I want to take a couple of activities for little GDs (these two are aged 8 and 5) so I need to organise these.
Right, I am off to bed soon, so hope to have a more impressive list tomorrow0 -
Yorkshirelass what a wonderful offer from your neighbour and once ds1 can drive it will give him a boost to his self esteem as well as helping him become more independent.

My dd (6 years) has been brushing and combing my hair for over 20 minutes  and she keeps chatting to me about what she is doing and how my hair is, it's worse than going to the hairdressers, which is my idea of hell. At least it has given me the opportunity to catch up on here.
Gorgeous..did she ask if you are going anywhere nice on your holisays:rotfl:" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
