  • Morning guys :wave: thanks for starting us off lego mum :)

    Have come down with a cold so this morning woke up and my head was throbbing and had a sore throat. Have taken some pain meds and feeling much better. Will be an early night I think!

    Going to visit my ds today and the weather isn't great so will take dgd to a soft play and have a coffee and a couple of hours with ds. Then this evening me & dgd going to visit my bff and my godson for tea and a catch up :)

    Small things for today:

    * checked banking - received ms money so put that in't regular savings pots (car, birthday's & Christmas) This is the first time I've put anything in savings since losing my job in June last year :T
    * B/L
    * take food & drinks out with us to keep costs as low as possible. * get a slice of frozen cake out of freezer
    * go and pay money into bank account
    * update frugal living ss
    * hang up washing & do another load
    * make dgd's packed lunch & clothes/bag ready for tomorrow morning - getting it all ready in the morning is too stressful!
    * might check onepoll if I get time
    * contact friend we are meeting up with on Friday for a playdate and see if we can go to her house to play rather than the play gym as we have been to soft play twice this week

    That's all I can think of right now. Have a great day x

    Think that's everything for today, but hoping I can find some more bits as feel like I'm falling off the wagon although I'm not really sure why!

    If anyone's Apple Safari browser has been affected by crashes today it's caused by a bug: a glitch at Apple's end. There are two free options to work around this until they fix it. You just need to change your browser settings:

    Either disable the "search engine suggestions" option in Safari's preferences...

    or..

    activate Private mode.

    There's pictures explaining how to do this on the Guardian website. (Link)

    Hi,

    Greetings from a gale on the side of a mountain. Today will be an epic day: at the end of tonight's shift I'll have completed my four and a half month contract as an Agency Manager. Then I can have a fortnight off before switching to a different role. I'm proud of myself: not one day off sick and not one tear shed. That's quite something for me. Nervous about the change though. :o

    * Free pizza slice at work last night.

    * Checked OH's bank balances.

    What about you folks?
