Hurray ,you are in .Good luck and much happiness in your new home .Looking forward to hearing all about it .
  • Me too. I need to hear all about completion day. x
  • Completion day was long and tiring and pretty uneventful, except seller's solicitors holding things up for over an hour (I wasn't surprised they are shocking!). Our solicitors phoned early to say money had all been transferred, we then phoned estate agents to pick up the keys, but then had to wait until the other solicitors could be bothered to check they had received it.

The removal men were worth every penny, running around all day non stop and lovely people too.

I didn't sleep a wink the night before and got up to make a cup of tea at 4:30, then finished the last bits of packing at 5am. Come 4:30pm when the removal guys left I was good for nothing and really welcomed the 2 minute stroll to the pub for dinner!

Unpacking is going well, still loads to do. Tomorrow we will be moving the horses to their new field. Another exhausting day!

  • May I ask the removal company?

I adore them when they go in a new place. I could watch them for hours.
