How much do you have left of your £42 EatingTheElephant ?0

£11 try harder! I think I might make it
I've also decided not to go to the event today, so that saves the £5 I had planned to spend today.
We went for a lovely walk last night after work and explored some of the local nature trails, then stopped off at the pub for a drink.
Today I'm planning to catch up with household stuff and clear out the old yard - I still can't believe how much stuff we had up there. Then either tomorrow or Monday I'm planning to go for our first ride at the new stables. I'm very excited about all this new exploring!0 -
Well done ,only 4 more days to go you will do it .I must admit that i really enjoy having a set amount and making it last and its amazing what you can do when you set your mind to it .
We have been for a lovely walk today by the river and by an old water mill. How far away have you moved ETE from your old home ?Oh that sounds really exciting ,have a wonderful weekend .0 -
This might sound odd, but I found this map https://www.opencyclemap.org/ its for pushbikes, but I suspect it shows bridleways? Ignore if not2023: the year I get to buy a car0

We have only moved 10 miles tryharder, but it is totally different, more rural in a small village. The horses have moved about 17 miles and it is a totally different area to where we were before. Although they were rural before it was between two towns, whereas now we have acres of forest and moorland.
The open cycle maps are brilliant karmacat, I use ViewRanger with the open cycle map view and also I bought the detailed OS map for it too. Absolutely brilliant for planning adventures0 -
Sounds absolutely lovely.0

Yesterday ended up not being a NSD. I was going through updating more change of address stuff and didn't realise the change of address for the dog's microchip had to be paid for. However, I didn't go into my OD or take it from the bills account. It was £16 and I found £20 lurking in a seldom used account so that was quickly shuffled over and those details have now been updated.
A load of stuff to the tip from old yard and one load of stuff from old yard to new yard. Including the trailer being taken away. Just one more load to go and a sweep out of the haybarn and we are done and ready to hand the keys back.
All the ironing was also done yesterday, three baskets full. Which gave me plenty of thinking time, I have a new business idea for in a few years time and have also been thinking about plans for the rest of the year.
I'm going to try to get away with not buying any new clothes for the rest of the year. I have plenty, so this should be possible.
There is also one pony left to find a new home for. This was meant to be done at the start of the year, but then we ended up planning to move etc so this was put on the back burner. So pony walking will commence again!0 -
There is nothing like ironing for providing "thinking time". I do a lot of plotting and planning whilst ironing.
You have done really well to maintain MSE ways during your house move - this is usually a time when everything goes to pot, but you have been really good.
Your new home sounds absolutely lovely : )0 -
You have to PAY to update the microchip details? That's OUTRAGEOUS.0

I have to say I was quite taken aback by it and then after the website took payment it kept erroring on the email address saying it didn't match (it really did!) so I was less than impressed, but it is done now.0
