Well .... anyone who comes here with a parking fine/police ticket is normally soon put straight - go to pepipoo.
But sadly you immediately decided to advise her so badly!!
The OP came with a speeding/driving uninsured issue, but unfortunately the first advice she got was from you who originally advised her to go down to the police station and confess to the driving uninsured even though she hasn't been accused of that, (or if her own insurance had driving other cars cover she could use that)!
Possibly the worst 2 bits of advice you have handed out - and that's saying something!
Now you want to take this off the forum and request PMs!
Hopefully the OP has learnt enough now that she will ignore any special PMs you choose to send her!
That sums him up nicely. 👍0 -

You will of course note HO87 said it may carry more weight. He, unlike you will know there is in fact no legal requirement to obtain a signature.
And by the way you're still digging, I thought you'd said all you needed to.0 -

We don't know who you PM.
However only the OP is in ignorance of how bad your immediate advice to her is, and needs to be aware that she should treat any more advice you give her with care as #2 was pretty bad but she took it at face value! (You even suggested she only faced a £200/£300 fine for driving uninsured! Hope she hasn't gone to confession - you forgot to advise her how much she'd pay over the next 5 years in increased premiums)0
