Reality you're torturing yourself with the Net-a-porter items and you're also torturing me :rotfl: have a lovely massage!! Don't worry too much about your spends next year, I'm sure it will all fall into place, if I know I'm going to have a spendy week or two I try not to go too off the rails in the mean time... damage limitation. Then straight back onto the money saving wagon! All the little things will help too like your doggys haircut. R xLBM 07/03/17 £14,879.52 18/04/18 £6,100 Starting again.. 31/07/19 £13,367.340

Thanks Rebecca, it was lovely! My friends wouldn't let me pay for lunch either and paid for mine!
Back at work today and so so tired! I have been fine up until now, but I am just now feeling fat and tired constantly, but I do need to remember I am 37 weeks pregnant! Put in a holiday for Friday so can't really complain, 4 more days and then I am off a YEAR!!! (potentially!)
Last night we done the final touches, packed a hospital bag, done a trial run of the car seat - OH nearly flung it at a window, but got there in the end, and I washed all the clothes, starting to feel very real! But I don't think until I have a baby in my arms I'll believe it's happening. Still no name, so we have 2 weeks to think and agree on little girl names!
Money saving news - nothing to update. Have 80% of the ASOS delivery in my car to drop off and return after work, keeping a dress and a top. Is anyone else having problems with fruit right now?! I just seem to find the quality awful and not lasting. All I eat is watermelon, pineapple, strawberries and melon right now during the day and it is not keeping fresh at all...spent £35 in a local greengrocers on some fruit and little veg...pricy when Lidl would have been £15ish...who said shopping local was cheaper?! It most defintely is not! Came out the food budget, but it is a good chunk.
Today should be a low spend day apart from popping to Lidl for a full chicken later as craving a roast dinner, never had one yesterday but it's my favourite dinner so doing it today instead, and will be enough chicken, veg etc to make a meal tomorrow...this is what I am trying to do right now, make 1 dinner that can be adapted and last 2 nights, saves money but most importabtly saves standing cooking a dinner!
Anyway, that's all for now...all ready have a busy day in work and that's without people just walking in...I hope they don't! Have a good week xxxStarting debt £18,675.63

Hi reality check.
Hope you don't mind me messaging but I just wanted to say I spent all day reading your diary and it really struck a cord with me. I've so much debt and it doesn't help I buy so many unnecessary things (literally ordered stuff from the white company yesterday and can't afford it)
You've motivated me into start keeping a track of everything. I just wanted to say thank you and I've really enjoyed reading your diary and congratulations on being pregnant :-)0 -
Aww thank you and thanks for reading Rachel - I love the white company too! This morning in work I was on Etsy (a new dangerous discovery I have found for planning my friends hen do) and I was looking at buying wax melts that smell like the white company, jo malone, tom ford...all my favourites! I had £32.00 worth in my basket and told myself what a bargain it was compared to the real deal...luckily I then removed everything from my basket! This is a mini victory that happens 70% of the time now, compared to 0% in the past where I would have bought whatever I wanted, it clearly still happens - if it didn't I would be debt free! You should return the white company order when it arrives (unless it was a really good bargain/something you need!) or make it your last order for a while!
I would also recommend starting a diary and tracking your spends, it does help. If you do let me know and I will follow youxx

I know this isn't very MSE but I bought a £2 scratchcard today and won £20!
Having a lie down after dinner and on this - I check this more than fb these days, know more about peoples diaries lives than those in real life!
Made some banana bread that's in the oven and sent OH to get some treats for Love Island! I am addicted and invested a lot of time and effort watching and speaking about it this year...don't know what I'll do with my nights now it's over! What a saddo, need to get a life! xxxStarting debt £18,675.63

Had a mini baby shower today in work, it was so lovely! They decorated my desk and got loads of beautiful gifts including the Sleepyhead Delux pod that I really wanted. Only good thing about everyone I work with being so generous and celebrating everything is that when you have something big on you def get back what you pay in. Need to remind myself this when yet another collection comes round and I moan in my head about it!
Tomorrow is my last day!! I am pretty certain I won't be in all day, I better not be I have booked a waxing appointment and to get my nails done early afternoon!!
Went to my mum and dads tonight and had a Chinese and some non alcoholic wine, really not the same! I can't wait for a large glass of red wine!! Will be a while though as I am hoping to breastfeed!
Off to do a face mask, watch Eastenders and head to bed. Night diary xxxStarting debt £18,675.63
